    GENERAL SAFETY CONDITIONS IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

    1. Before using the device, read the instruction manual and follow the instructions contained therein. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by using the device contrary to its intended use or improper operation.
    2. The device is for domestic use only. Do not use for other purposes; incompatible with its purpose.
    3. Connect the device only to a grounded outlet 220-240V ~ 50/60Hz. In order to increase the safety of use, multiple electrical appliances should not be plugged into a single circuit at the same time.
    4. To provide additional protection, it is advisable to install in an electrical circuit, a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual current of not more than 30 mA. In this regard, consult a specialist electrician.
    5. Take special care when using the device when children are around. Do not allow children to play with the device, do not allow children or anyone unfamiliar with the device to use it.
    6. WARNING: This equipment may be used by children over 8 years of age and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental ability, or persons without experience or familiarity with the equipment, if this is done under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety or they have been given instructions on the safe use of the equipment and are aware of the dangers associated with its use. Children should not play with the equipment. Cleaning and maintenance of the equipment should not be performed by children unless they are over 8 years of age and these activities are performed under supervision.
    7. WARNING: Do not use the device if its housing is cracked.
    8. WARNING: Do not open the lid if the water is boiling.
    9. WARNING: Do not leave the appliance plugged into an outlet unattended.
    10. WARNING: Keep the device out of the reach of children.
    11. WARNING: Improper use of the device may result in injuries such as cuts, abrasions, or electric shock, among others.
    12. WARNING: Always remove the plug from the power outlet after use by holding the outlet with your hand. DO NOT pull on the power cord.
    13. WARNING: Do not move the unit while it is in use.
    14. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or entire unit in water or other liquid. Do not expose the unit to weather conditions (rain, sun, etc.) or use it in high humidity conditions (bathrooms, humid motor homes).
    15. Periodically check the condition of the power cord. If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by a specialized repair facility to avoid danger.
    16. Do not use the device with a damaged power cord or if it has been dropped or damaged in any other way, or is not working properly. Do not repair the device yourself, as there is a risk of electrocution. Return a damaged device to a competent service center for inspection or repair. All repairs may be made only by authorized service centers. Improper repair may cause danger.
    17. Place the appliance on a cool, stable, level surface, away from hot kitchen appliances such as: electric stove, gas burner, etc…
    18. Do not use the device near flammable materials.
    19. The power cord must not hang over the edge of the table or touch hot surfaces.
    20. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may gush out of it.
    21. NOTE: The kettle may only be used with the supplied stand.
    22. NOTE: Before lifting the kettle from the stand, make sure that the kettle is turned off.
    23. This equipment is designed to boil clean water for domestic and similar use, such as: staff kitchen areas in stores, offices, and other working environments, farm rooms, by customers in hotels, motels, and other residential environments of this type, in sleeping and breakfast rooms.
    24. Always take special care when boiling water in a kettle. Do not touch the kettle housing or lid. Do not open the lid of the kettle while it is boiling or immediately after the water boils; the escaping steam may cause burns.
    25. Carry the kettle only by holding the handle.
    26. Do not fill the kettle above the MAX or below the MIN level, as this may cause burns or damage to the kettle.
    27. Do not turn on the kettle without water, as this may cause damage to the kettle.
    28. Do not use the kettle without a filter or with the lid open, as the circuit breaker will not work then.
    29. Periodically, the kettle should be decalcified using means designed for this purpose. Using a kettle with a calcified heater will damage it and void the warranty.
    30. To wash the housing of the kettle, do not use aggressive detergents that can damage the kettle or remove the markings on it.
    31. The device is not designed to operate with external timers or a separate remote control system.
    32. Do not wash the base of the kettle directly in water; only wipe with a dry cloth.
    33. Children from 3 to under 8 years of age may turn the appliance on and off only when it is in its normal operating position, is supervised, or has been instructed on safe use and understands the resulting risks. Children between the ages of 3 and 8 must not connect, operate, clean, or maintain the appliance themselves.

    BEFORE FIRST USE

    Fill the kettle with water three times to the maximum level, boil, and pour out. To remove any factory odor.
    Touch the buttons on the touch panel (8) only with your fingertips; touching with your fingernails may
    damage the panel !

    BASIC OPERATION: SINGLE BOIL TO 100℃

    1. Set the base (5) on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface.
    2. Fill the kettle with water so that the water level is between the maximum and minimum levels on the
      water level indicator in the center of the kettle.
    3. Remember to close the kettle’s lid (1) after filling, otherwise the kettle will not turn off automatically when the water boils.
    4. Plug the power cord plug into a 220-240V ~50/60Hz grounded power outlet. Place the kettle on the base (5). You will hear a “di” sound, the touch panel (8) will light up, and the LCD (2) will indicate the current water temperature.
    5. Press the (A) “On/Off” button, the (H) temperature hold indicator and the “+”(F), “-” (G) indicator will light up, and the heater will start heating water, the LCD (2) will start to indicate the current water temperature. The water temperature will increase until boiling, that is, up to 100°C.
    6. After the water boils, the kettle will automatically turn off, and you will hear a “di-di” sound twice.
      The LCD (2) will indicate 100°C, then after 25 seconds it will turn off, and the icon (A) On/off will flash.
    7. Want to turn off the kettle before the water is finished boiling,? Lift it from the base (5) or press the On/Off button (A).
    8. You can start turning the kettle on again about 2 minutes after the last use; for this purpose, press the (A) “On/Off” button.
    9. The kettle also has a function to set ADLER AD 1305 White Electric Kettle the temperature from 40℃ to 100℃ in 5℃ increments. To do this, use the F(+) and G (-) buttons to increase the F (+) temperature or decrease the G (-) temperature.

    ADVANCED OPERATION: BOIL WATER TO THE SELECTED TEMPERATURE OF 40℃, 70℃, 80℃, 90℃

    Place the kettle on the base (5), you will hear a “di” sound. Press the temperature selection button 40℃  (B),70℃ (C), 80℃ (D), or 90℃ (E), the LCD (2) will show your selected temperature of 40℃, 70℃, 80℃
    or 90℃, then the LCD (2) will show the current water temperature inside the kettle. The temperature hold indicator (H) and on/off indicator (A) will light up, and the heater will start heating the water.

    The kettle will stop boiling water when the selected temperature level reaches 40℃, 70℃, 80℃, 90℃ yYou
    will hear a “dii-di” sound twice. The LCD (2) will indicate the temperature reached, then after 25 seconds it will turn off, and the indicator (A) On/Off will flash.

    If you want to turn off the kettle before the water has finished boiling, lift it from the base (5) or press the
    On/Off button (A). You can start turning the kettle on again about 2 minutes after the last use; for this purpose, press the (A) “On/Off” button.

    TEMPERATURE KEEP WARM FUNCTION

    Place the kettle on the base (5), you ADLER AD 1305 White Electric Kettle will hear a “di” sound. Press one of the temperature selector buttons
    on the panel (8), then press the temperature hold button (H), the indicator (H) will start flashing, which means that the temperature hold function is on. After reaching the set temperature, the kettle will enter the temperature hold mode and will cycle the water when the water temperature drops by 5℃ from the selected temperature level.

    If the water temperature in the kettle is higher than the desired temperature (more than 5℃), the temperature hold function indicator (G)  will flash until the water cools down to the pre-set temperature, being in temperature hold mode all the time. To interrupt the temperature hold function, remove the kettle from the base (5) or press the button (A). The temperature hold function is maintained for 2 hours after the last boil.

    SAFETY FEATURES

    The appliance is equipped with an automatic overheat fuse, the fuse will activate when it has been used with insufficient water. Always make sure that the amount of water in the appliance is above the minimum level. If the fuse engages, turn off the kettle by pressing button (A), then remove the plug from the power socket and let the kettle cool down for 5-10 minutes. Then fill the kettle with water and turn on the
    appliance, which will operate normally.

    Turning on an empty kettle or one insufficiently filled with water will automatically turn off the device. In this case, wait several minutes. Pour the appropriate amount of water and turn the kettle on again. Do not leave the switched-on kettle unattended. The kettle is an electrical appliance not designed to hold water or any other liquids. After boiling the water, pour it immediately into another vessel. Water after boiling in the kettle must not remain in it for more than 10 minutes. Before each use, fill the kettle with fresh water above the minimum level and below the maximum level.

    CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

    Limescale deposited inside the kettle ADLER AD 1305 White Electric Kettle should be removed regularly. This activity is not subject to warranty service. Failure to decalcify regularly will lead to damage to the kettle and void the warranty. To decalcify,
    use specially designed preparations for this purpose according to the instructions for use of the decalcifying agent. After decalcification, rinse the kettle very thoroughly three times.
