1. Before using the product, please read carefully and always comply with the following instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damages due to any misuse.
2. The product is only to be used indoors. Do not use the product for any purpose that is not compatible with its application.
3. The device should only be connected to a 5V USB port.
4. Please be cautious when using around children. Do not let the children play with the product. Do not let children or people who do not know the device use it without supervision.
5. WARNING: This device may be used by children over 8 years of age and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or persons without experience or knowledge of the device, only under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety, or if they were instructed on the safe use of the device and are aware of the dangers associated with its operation. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the device should not be carried out by children, unless they are over 8 years of age, and these activities are carried out under supervision.
6. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or the entire appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the device to weather conditions (rain, sun, etc.) or use it in high humidity conditions (bathrooms, damp mobile homes).
7. Never use the product if it has been dropped or damaged in any other way or if it does not work properly. Do not try to repair the defective product yourself because it can lead to an electric shock. A damaged device always turns to a professional service location in order to repair it. All the repairs can be done only by authorized service professionals. The repair that was done incorrectly can cause hazardous situations for the user.
8. Place the appliance on a cool, stable, level surface, away from heating appliances such as electric cookers, gas burners, etc.

10. Never use this device close to water, e.g., under a shower, in a bathtub, or above a sink filled with water.

14. Do not operate the device if the spice compartment (5) is empty.
15. Do not loosen or tighten the adjuster knob (4) completely.
16. The grinder is for grinding herbs and spices only.

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Do not use the device until it is fully charged.
2. To charge, insert the charging cable (6)Adler AD 4449 Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder into the charging socket (7) and then connect to the power supply.
3. The charging indicator (3) will turn red. Charging will take approximately 2.5 hours.
4. When fully charged charging indicator (3) will turn white.
   NOTE: You can not use the device while it is charging.

OPERATING THE DEVICE

1. Place spice compartments (5) on a flat, firm, and stable surface.
2. Cover the spice compartment (5) with a base (1) and press it down to lock.
3. Press and hold the grinding button (2) to start grinding. To change between spice compartments (5), press down to unlock and release. Then place the base (1) on the top of the new spice compartment (5) and press it down to lock.

PREPARING THE DEVICE

Filling spices into the spice compartment (5):

1. Unscrew the spice compartment (5).
2. Add the spices that you need (with a maximum granule diameter of 5mm) to the jar and fill it to about 2/3 of the capacity.
3. Close the spice compartment (5).

OPERATING THE DEVICE

1. Place spice compartments (5) on a flat, firm, and stable surface.
2. Cover the spice compartment (5) with a base (1) and press it down to lock.
3. Press and hold the grinding button (2) to start grinding. To change between spice compartments (5), press down to unlock and release. Then place the base (1) on the top of the new spice compartment (5) and press it down to lock.

Grind fineness adjustment

•  To obtain a coarser grain, rotate the grinding adjustment knob (4) on the bottom of the spice compartment (5) counterclockwise.
• obtaintain finer grain, rotate the grinding adjustment knob (4) clockwise.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

If needed, wipe the grinder cover with a moist cloth. DO NOT IMMERSE THE GRINDER IN WATER!
