Before First Use
- Remove the packaging and any stickers and accessories that are on the outside and inside the device.
- Thoroughly clean the grate (5) and the glass container (8) with hot water, with a small amount of dishwashing liquid and a sponge, then wipe them with a clean, soft cloth.
- Place the appliance on a stable horizontal surface, plug in the power cord, and select the first program (as indicated in the appliance use section) to remove factory odors from the appliance.
- When the program is finished, unplug the power cord and repeat step 2 to clean it again after it has cooled completely.
- The glass container (8) is dishwasher safe. Do not wash the grate (5) in the dishwasher.
Use of the Appliance
- Lift the top cover of the appliance (10) by holding the handle (9) to an upright position.
- Holding the handle of the glass container (6), pull the container (8) together with the grate (5) from the housing (4) and place it on the silicone Adler AD 6316 Air Fryer with Glass Bowl pad (3) placed on a stable surface. The grate (5) can be removed from the container (8).
- Place the previously prepared products on the grate (5) located on the bottom of the container (8). Then insert the container (8) into the housing (4). When filling the container, do not exceed 2/3 of the container’s capacity. Then lower the top cover (10), holding the handle (9).
- Connect the closed device to a grounded power outlet. The device will turn on and emit an audible alarm. To turn the device on, press the button (A) “ON/OFF”.
- Using the function selection button (B) “MENU”, select the desired program (Table 1). After selecting the program, you can change the temperature and time by pressing the temperature control selection button (C) “+” “-, and then the time adjustment button D “+”, “-“. It is recommended to add 3 minutes to the cooking time, relative to the programmed menu, if the device is cooled.
- After selecting the appropriate program, press the button (A) “ON / OFF “. The device will begin to operate, the display will show the set temperature, and the elapsed time. During the operation of the device, the halogen heater will turn on and off; this means that the thermostat maintains the correct temperature inside the glass container.
- When the device is finished working, it will beep 5 times. To terminate the device early, hold down the (A) “ON / OFF” button for 3 seconds.
Cleaning
- Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the power outlet and wait for the appliance to cool down.
- Clean with a damp, then dry cloth (or a paper towel).
- Brush the more difficult-to-remove residues with a small amount of edible oil, and after a few minutes, gently remove them with a wooden spatula.
- Do not clean with sharp, abrasive rags or sponges, or use scouring powders, as they can damage the smooth, non-stick coating\ of the basket and container.
- Do not immerse the unit in water.
