FAQs
Q: What is the Adler AD 8091 Tourist Cooler Fridge used for?
Designed to keep food and beverages cold (or warm) during travel, picnics, camping excursions, or automobile rides, the Adler AD 8091 is a portable electric cooler refrigerator. It’s perfect for outdoor activities as well as leisure.
Q: What is the capacity of this cooler?
With a 20-liter capacity (check your model version for precise volume), the cooler provides plenty of room for lunchboxes, bottles, and snacks.
Q: What makes this model different from a standard cooler box?
In contrast to a standard ice chest, the AD 8091 uses thermoelectric cooling technology that serves two purposes: it doesn’t require ice and can either keep food warm or cool depending on your needs.
Q: Can I use both power sources at once?
No. To prevent the unit from being damaged, only use one power source at a time.
Q: How do I switch between cooling and warming modes?
There is a COLD/HOT mode switch on the device. Before connecting to the power, slide it to the desired position.
Q: How much can it cool or heat?
The AD 8091 can lower the temperature of its contents by up to 18–20°C when it is in cooling mode. It can reach roughly 60°C when in warming mode.
Q: Can I use it while the car engine is off?
It is not advised. Long-term use of the vehicle’s power when the engine is off might deplete the battery.
Q: Is it safe to run continuously?
Indeed. Although the cooler is made to run continuously for extended periods of time, make sure there is adequate ventilation surrounding it to avoid overheating.
