    SAFETY CONDITIONS

    IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

    1.  Please read carefully and always follow the instructions before using the product. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage resulting from improper use.
    2. The product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use the product for any purpose incompatible with its use.
    3. Be careful when using near children. Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children or anyone unfamiliar with the device to use it without supervision.
    4. WARNING: This appliance may be used by children over 8 years of age and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, or persons without experience or knowledge of the appliance, only under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety, or if they have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and are aware of the dangers associated with its operation. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance should not be performed by children unless they are at least 8 years old, and these activities should be performed under supervision.
    5. Never put the entire device in water. Never expose the product to weather conditions such as direct sunlight, rain, etc. Never use the product in wet conditions.

    BEFORE FIRST USE

    Open the battery compartment. Remove ADLER AD 8192 Grey Bathroom Scale battery insulating film or insert the batteries according to the markings, if there are none. Pay special attention to the [+] and [-] polarity markings. Close the battery compartment cover.

    BATTERY REPLACEMENT

    Open the battery compartment cover. The cover is located on the bottom of the scale (4). Remove the used battery. Insert a new battery of the correct type. Close the battery compartment cover.

    SELECTION OF UNITS OF MEASUREMENT

    Change the units of measure with the UNIT button (2). The unit of measure will be shown on the display.

    USE

    1. Place the scale on a hard and flat surface (avoid carpets and soft surfaces).
    2. Press the scale, and the device will automatically turn on. Wait until the display indicates “0”.
    3. Gently step onto the scale. Stand on the scale evenly distributing your weight, and do not move until the reading of your weight shown on the display stops changing and is locked.

    AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN

    When you step off the scale, the unit automatically shuts off. The scale automatically shuts off when the display shows “0.0” or the same weight reading for about 20 seconds.
