    IntroductionHoneywell-HT-800-Series-High-Velocity-Circulators-figure-2

The Turbo Force® High Velocity Air Circulator Fans are aerodynamically designed to give you the versatility of changing this fan’s angular direction simply by adjusting the fan to ANY desired angular output (Fig.1). Upon using this fan, you will feel a strong and powerful air stream that will quickly move air to provide a cooling effect.

    For Energy Saving

Honeywell Air Circulator Fans can help save energy and can lower monthly utility bills all year round. Our air circulators increase the distribution of cooler air from your air conditioner or warmer air from your heating system, creating a vortex of air flow for increased comfort. Increased air flow allows the air conditioning and heating systems to be used at lower settings to help save you money.Honeywell-HT-800-Series-High-Velocity-Circulators-figure-3

    In the summer

    • Circulate cool air by using with window or central air conditioning. Circulate cool air upstairs.

    In the winter

    •  circulate warm air. Position your air circulator in an open location for upward air movement. Run it on a low setting to move the hotter air from the ceiling and circulate the warmer air throughout the room.

    Increase Heating Source Efficiency

    •  Use with other heat sources, such as wood stoves, baseboard heaters, and or vents to help circulate the warm air throughout the room.

    Safety Instructions

    Before using the fan

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following.

    For US Models

This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet.

    1. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present, and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
    2. Use this fan only as described in this manual. Other uses are not recommended; they may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
    3. This product is intended for household use ONLY and not for commercial, industrial, or outdoor use.
    4. To protect against electric shock, do not place the fan in a window, immerse the unit, plug, or cord in water, or spray with liquids.
    5. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of shock, this plug is intended to fit only one way in a polarized outlet. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature.
    6. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
    7. Turn the fan to the OFF position and unplug the fan from the outlet when not in use, when moving the fan from one location to another, and before cleaning.
    8. To disconnect the fan, first turn the control to the OFF position, grip the plug, and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull by the cord.
    9. Do not operate the fan in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
    10. Do not place the fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking, or other heating appliance.
    Fuse Safety Plug

Please see below for more information on how to properly use your fan and replace the safety plug fuse, if needed.

    Sevicing Instructions

    1. Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
    2. If your fan loses power and you suspect that the fuse on your fan has blown, you should first remove the spare fuse holder attached to the cord plug (Fig. 1). Remove the spare fuse from the plastic spare fuse holder, and set the spare fuse aside (Fig. 2).
    3. You can gain access to the blown fuse by sliding open the door found on the side of the plug. Slide the door outward until the blown fuse is fully visible (Fig. 3).
    4. Remove the blown fuse and snap the replacement fuse into place. Risk of fire. Replace the fuse only with a 2.5-amp, 125-volt fuse (provided with the product). Fully close the fuse door by sliding it back into place. Discard the blown fuse. The plug should now be ready for normal use.
    5. Risk of fire. Do not replace the attachment plug. Contains a safety device (fuse,  AFCI, LCDI) that should not be removed. Discard the product if the attachment plug is damaged.
    6. If you need further information on how or when to replace the fuse in the safety plug, please contact Kaz Consumer Relations Department by visiting our website at www.kaz.com or calling 1-800-477-0457.

    FAQs

Q: Is it possible to place the HT-800 fan on a wall?
Ans: Wall mounting is an optional feature of the HT-800 Series. The base has mounting holes that let you fasten the device to a wall, giving you a variety of location possibilities and freeing up desk or floor space.

Q: How many different speed settings are there?
Ans: Using the dial on the rear of the device, you can simply alter the fan’s three speed settings: Low, Medium, and High.

Q: Does the fan go back and forth?
Ans: No, there is no horizontal oscillation in the HT-800 Series fans.

Q: Does the fan use a lot of energy?
Ans: It is a more affordable option for everyday usage because it consumes less electricity than larger pedestal or tower fans.

Q: What is the fan’s recommended room size?
Ans: Small to medium-sized rooms (up to about 200 square feet) are the ideal fit for the HT-800. Use many units or combine them with a larger fan for greater areas.

Q: What are the HT-800 fan’s weight and dimensions?
    Ans: Its measurements are around 11.5″ H x 6.3″ W x 10.9″ D, and its weight is approximately 3.7 lbs (1.7 kg).
