    FAQs

Q: What is the Palmer Elde 2-Kanal Passive DI-Box used for?

A passive direct injection (DI) box called the Palmer Elde transforms high-impedance or unbalanced instrument signals into low-impedance, balanced signals that can be used in mixers, audio interfaces, or public address systems. Keyboards, basses, guitars, and other electronic instruments are perfect for it.

Q: Does it require external power?

No, it is completely passive and doesn’t need phantom power or batteries. On the other hand, the device is safe if phantom power is used.

Q: Can it handle both mono and stereo signals?

Yes, each channel functions separately, so if the inputs support it, you can attach one stereo source or two mono instruments.

Q: Will the DI-Box affect my sound quality?

No, the Elde DI-Box offers a clear, transparent signal with little phase or frequency loss because it is made to preserve audio integrity.

Q: Can I use it with passive and active pickups?

Indeed, it is compatible with both active and passive instrument pickups. Colourless signal integrity is guaranteed by the passive circuitry.

Q: What is the frequency response of the DI-Box?

All tones, from deep bass to high treble, are authentically delivered thanks to the device’s wide frequency response.

Q: Can it handle multiple instruments at once?

Yes, you can connect two instruments at once because it has two distinct channels. Because each channel is autonomous, crosstalk is avoided.

Q: Can I use it for line-level signals?

Although it is designed for instrument-level signals, it is capable of handling line-level signals as well.
