Safety Instructions

1. Observe the instructions for the main unit.
2. Only take hold of the cutting discs by the edge.
3. Never touch the sharp blades and edges with your bare hands.
4. Do not reach into the filling shaft.
5. Only use the pusher to push down ingredients.
6. Never assemble the accessories on the main unit.
7. Only use the accessories once fully assembled.
8. The accessories should only be used in the intended operating position.
9. Do not process food that contains hard components, e.g., bones, gristle, or stones.
10. Do not insert objects into the filling shaft or housing, e.g., wooden spoons.
11. Before use, check the filling shaft and housing for foreign objects.
12. Do not apply great force with the pusher.
13. Do not process any frozen food.
14. Only attach and remove accessories once the drive has stopped and the appliance has been unplugged.=

Cutting discs

Reversible cutting disc, thick/ thin

Not suitable for processing hard cheese, bread, rolls, or chocolate. Only cut up cooked potatoes once they have cooled down. Cutting food into thick or thin slices, e.g., fruit and vegetables. Marking:

• 1 = thick slices
• 3 = thin slices

Reversible shredding disc, coarse/fine

Not suitable for processing nuts or hard cheese, e.g., Parmesan. Shred soft cheese with the coarse side only. Shredding food coarsely or finely, e.g., fruit, vegetables, or cheese such as Gouda or Edam. Marking:

• 2 = coarse side
• 4 = fine side

Fine grating disc

Shredding food medium-fine, e.g., raw potatoes or hard cheese such as Parmesan. Not suitable for processing soft cheese and cheese slices.

Coarse grating disc 

Grating food coarsely, e.g., raw potatoes for dumplings or potato pancakes.

Troubleshooting

The accessory does not work. An installed predetermined breaking point protects the drive from damage. Foreign objects cause the agitator paddle on the underside of the housing to break at the predetermined breaking point. To replace the insert, re-order from customer service quoting order number 623944. The accessory is not correctly assembled. Check whether the accessory has been correctly assembled. Processed food does not fall into the bowl. The outlet opening or housing is blocked.

1. Finish processing and unplug from the mains.
2. Remove the accessory.
3. Take the accessory apart and remove the blockage.

Battery packs/batteries

Please observe the notes in the section on transport. Unscrew the screws on the housing and remove the housing shell in order to remove the battery. To prevent a short circuit, disconnect the connectors on the battery one at a time and then isolate the poles.

Disposal

1. Unplug the appliance from the mains.
2. Cut through the power cord.
3. Close the main gas tap.
4. Dispose of the appliance in an environmentally friendly manner.
