    • Gently wipe the base and heating plate with a damp cloth. 6-Wash Lid, Omelet Tray, Poaching Tray, Egg Tray Removal Tool, Bottom
    • Egg Tray, Top 6-Egg Tray, Transparent Riser, and Measuring Cup with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly before use. These parts are also top rack dishwasher safe.
    • Dry all parts and pieces before plugging in the unit or assembling.
    • Never submerge the base or the power cord in water.
    How To Use

For hard, medium, or soft-boiled eggs:

    • Place the egg cooker on a clean, dry surface. Plug into the wall outlet.
    • The lines on the measuring cup correspond to the different types of eggs.
      1. Hard-boiled eggs have fully-cooked yolks and fully-cooked egg whites.
      2. Medium-boiled eggs have semi-soft yolks and fully-cooked egg whites.
      3. Soft-boiled eggs have completely soft yolks and mostly-cooked egg whites.
    • Fill water to the desired line on the measuring up (Hard, Medium, or Soft).
    • Pour water into the heating plate.
    • Pull the Tray Removal Tool through the bottom of the Bottom 6-Egg Tray and pull up to lock into place.
    • Place the Bottom 6-Egg Tray on top of the base.
    • Place the first 6 eggs into the divots in the Bottom 6-Egg Tray.

    Cleaning And Maintenance

    • Always unplug your Egg Cooker from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
    • Wash Lid, Omelet Tray, Poaching Tray, Egg Tray Removal Tool, Bottom 6-Egg Tray, Top 6-Egg Tray, Transparent Riser, and Measuring Cup with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly before use. These parts are also top-rack dishwasher safe.
    • Clean the heating plate by pouring 2 tablespoons of white vinegar and 1 tablespoon of water on the heating plate. Let the liquids cool completely and wipe with a paper towel or soft cloth. This removes any mineral deposits left behind from the water.

    Note

If the unit is not cleaned with white vinegar (see above) regularly, minerals naturally occurring in water will build up and cause discoloration of the heating plate.

    • Wipe the main body housing with a damp cloth. DO NOT immerse in water.
    • Place clean parts and accessories inside the Egg Cooker for storage.

    FAQs

Q: How many eggs can the RJ24-V2 cook at once?

Ideal for families or meal preparation, the double-decker design lets you cook up to 14 eggs at once, with 7 eggs each tier.

Q: How do I measure the right amount of water for cooking?

Use the measuring cup that comes with the package; it includes lines for hard-, medium-, and soft-boiled eggs. Depending on the desired yolk consistency, the water level dictates the cooking duration.

Q: Can I cook eggs straight from the fridge?

Indeed! Although the RJ24-V2 can cook cold eggs, it might be best to add an additional minute or two to the cooking time to guarantee that the eggs are cooked to the proper doneness.

Q: How do I use the poaching tray or omelet tray?

Put the tray on the top shelf and fill the cooker’s base with a little water. After cracking the eggs into the omelette or poaching tray, place the lid on it. Check for doneness carefully because the cooking time is less than for hard-boiled eggs.

Q: Does the RJ24-V2 automatically turn off when eggs are done?

Indeed, it has an audio alert and automated shut-off when the water evaporates and the eggs are ready. For safety, always disconnect after using.

Q: Can I steam vegetables or other foods in this cooker?

Of course! Steaming veggies, dumplings, or small quantities of seafood is possible with the double-decker trays. Simply make sure there is water in the base and modify the cooking time as necessary.

Q: How do I prevent eggs from cracking during cooking?

Make a tiny puncture at the rounded end of the measuring cup with the egg piercer. This lessens cracking and lets steam out.

Q: Can I stack the trays with different types of eggs?

Large and medium eggs can be cooked together, however for consistent results, modify the cooking periods according to the size of the eggs.
