FAQs
Q: How many eggs can the RJ24-V2 cook at once?
Ideal for families or meal preparation, the double-decker design lets you cook up to 14 eggs at once, with 7 eggs each tier.
Q: How do I measure the right amount of water for cooking?
Use the measuring cup that comes with the package; it includes lines for hard-, medium-, and soft-boiled eggs. Depending on the desired yolk consistency, the water level dictates the cooking duration.
Q: Can I cook eggs straight from the fridge?
Indeed! Although the RJ24-V2 can cook cold eggs, it might be best to add an additional minute or two to the cooking time to guarantee that the eggs are cooked to the proper doneness.
Q: How do I use the poaching tray or omelet tray?
Put the tray on the top shelf and fill the cooker’s base with a little water. After cracking the eggs into the omelette or poaching tray, place the lid on it. Check for doneness carefully because the cooking time is less than for hard-boiled eggs.
Q: Does the RJ24-V2 automatically turn off when eggs are done?
Indeed, it has an audio alert and automated shut-off when the water evaporates and the eggs are ready. For safety, always disconnect after using.
Q: Can I steam vegetables or other foods in this cooker?
Of course! Steaming veggies, dumplings, or small quantities of seafood is possible with the double-decker trays. Simply make sure there is water in the base and modify the cooking time as necessary.
Q: How do I prevent eggs from cracking during cooking?
Make a tiny puncture at the rounded end of the measuring cup with the egg piercer. This lessens cracking and lets steam out.
Q: Can I stack the trays with different types of eggs?
Large and medium eggs can be cooked together, however for consistent results, modify the cooking periods according to the size of the eggs.
