Before First Use
- Fill up the kettle with water to the max level.
- Pour out the water. Repeat four times.
- To remove the possible scent of manufacturing, please boil water a few times.
- Various deposits (rusty, milky, etc.) may form inside the kettle and float on the water.
Use
- Fill the kettle with water. Make sure that the water level is between the MIN and MAX markings.
- The appliance should be placed on an even and heat-resistant surface, plugged into the mains.
- Press the N/OFF switch. The indicator lamp will light.
- The kettle will automatically switch off when the water boils.
- The kettle can be manually switched off at any time by the ON/OFF switch.
- The Automatic shutdown function may prevent switching on the kettle if the kettle does nis ot cool down.
- It is recommended to wait more than 5 minutes before next use.
Cleaning & Maintainance
- Before cleaning, be sure that the device is not connected to BLAUPUNKT EKG401 Electric kettle the mains and that it has completely cooled down.
- For cleaning, use a damp cloth. Do not use any harsh solvents or materials. Regularly descale the kettle.
- Use the descaling mixture to remove the limestone from the BLAUPUNKT EKG401 Electric kettle.
- After descaling kettle should be rinsed very carefully three times. Descaling doesn’t belong to warranty service.
