    FAQs

What type of fuel should I use in the Clarke CP3550K generator?

Make use of fresh, clean unleaded petrol with an octane value of at least 90. Steer clear of fuel that has more than 10% ethanol. Avoid using outdated or tainted petrol and always keep it in an authorised container.

How much power can the Clarke CP3550K provide?

The rated output of the generator is 3.0KVA (2500W), while its maximum output is 3.4KVA (2700W). To guarantee dependable and safe performance, make sure you don’t go beyond the rated load.

How often should I change the engine oil?

After the initial break-in period of 20 hours of use, or every 50 hours after that, or once a season after that, change the engine oil. For the majority of working circumstances, use SAE 10W-30 oil.

What is the correct oil type and capacity for the generator?

Make use of 4-stroke SAE 10W-30 engine oil. It has about 0.6 litres of oil capacity. To prevent engine damage, always check the oil level before using the engine.

How long will the generator run on a full tank of fuel?

With a 15-litre gasoline tank, the CP3550K can usually operate for 10 to 12 hours at 50% load. The power drain and environmental factors can affect runtime.

Does the CP3550K have automatic voltage regulation (AVR)?

Indeed, the Clarke CP3550K has an AVR system to help maintain a steady voltage output, giving your appliances and tools more reliable power.
