FAQs
Q: Can I cook food directly on the turntable?
Ans: No, always use plates or containers that are safe to use in a microwave. Direct food placement on the glass turntable may result in uneven heating or surface damage.
Q: Why is there condensation inside the microwave after cooking?
Ans: It is common for condensation to occur, particularly when heating moist food. It will eventually dissipate. To allow the interior to air out, leave the door open for a few minutes after using it.
Q: Why does the light stay on when the door is open?
Ans: This function is typical. To assist you in keeping an eye on the food, the interior light turns on when the door opens when the device is in use.
Q: Does this model have a memory or custom program function?
Ans: Until cleared or reset, it does, however, retain the most recent power level you used throughout your session.
Q: How long is the power cord, and can I use an extension cord?
Ans: The length of the power wire is roughly 3 feet (0.9 meters). If necessary, make sure the microwave is the sole device using that outlet and use only heavy-duty wires with a 15 amp or higher rating.
Q: What’s the turntable size, and can I use it without the ring?
Ans: The diameter of the glass turntable is roughly 10 inches (25.4 cm). Without it, the unit might not heat up properly or damage the base.
Q: How do I contact Insignia for support or replacement parts?
Ans: You can contact the customer service number provided in your instruction manual or go to www.insigniaproducts.com. For quicker service, have your proof of purchase and model number on hand.
