    FAQs

Q: What is the Palmer PWT12IEC?

The PWT12IEC is a pedalboard power supply that offers USB charging for mobile devices or accessories in addition to clean, isolated power to several guitar pedals and effects units.

Q: Can I power pedals that require 18V?

Indeed. To support high-voltage pedals, some outputs can be switched to 18V DC. Before connecting, always make sure it is compatible.

Q: Can I use the power supply on a pedalboard?

Indeed. The PWT12IEC is lightweight and small, and it may be mounted to pedalboards with hook-and-loop tape or screws.

Q: Can I use it with digital pedals or multi-effects units?

Indeed. It works with both analogue and digital pedals; just make sure your current draw doesn’t go over each channel’s rated output.

Q: Is the PWT12IEC compatible worldwide?

It can be used internationally because it supports IEC mains input (100–240V AC). Depending on the country, a plug adaptor can be required.

Q: Can I leave the power supply on all the time?

Indeed. Although the PWT12IEC is intended to run continuously, adequate ventilation must constantly be maintained to avoid overheating.

Q: Can I power a tuner pedal and charge my phone at the same time?

Indeed. While the 9V outputs power your pedals, one of the USB outputs can be used to charge a phone. Just make sure the overall load doesn’t beyond the rating of the power supply.
