    FAQs

Q: What is the main purpose of the Papago 2800 Dash Cam?

The Papago 2800 is made to capture excellent video while you’re driving from the front perspective of your car. It improves security, helps keep an eye on driving behaviour, and offers proof in the event of an accident.

Q: Does the Papago 2800 start recording automatically?

Indeed. When the car’s ignition is turned on, the dash cam automatically begins to record. When the ignition is switched off, recording ceases.

Q: How long can the Papago 2800 record continuously?

The size of the memory card and the video resolution determine how long the recording lasts. In order to ensure continuous recording, the dash cam uses loop recording, which overwrites the oldest files when the memory card is full.

Q: Can I lock or protect important video files?

Indeed. During loop recording, the majority of Papago 2800 models have an emergency lock feature (via a dedicated button) that keeps the current video file from being overwritten. This helps preserve evidence following mishaps.

Q: Will the dash cam work in low-light or nighttime conditions?

Indeed. The Papago 2800 can record clear video in low light thanks to its night vision capabilities and optimised video settings.

Q: Does the Papago 2800 have a parking mode?

Depending on the model, it might have a parking surveillance mode that logs any motion or impacts while the car is parked. Usually, this calls for either an optional hardwiring kit or a steady power supply.
