    Connecting to a Gas Cylinder

    • After purchasing your gas cylinder, you will then be ready to set it up with your gas grill.
    • When changing the gas cylinder, this shall be carried out away from any source of ignition.
    • Position the gas cylinder on the left side of your gas grill. It must not be placed inside the grill.
    • Keep in mind that the bottle must be kept away from heat and in a safe position.
    • When ready to use your gas grill, insert the regulator into the gas bottle valve and tighten firmly.
    • You will need an LPG gas bottle and proper regulators under the gas pressure to operate this gas grill.
    • The regulators should comply with EN12864 with the current version and national regulations.
    • Ensure that the hose is not subjected to twisting, which will affect the gas flow when installing your gas grill.
    • Also, the hose must not have undue tension and must not touch any part of the gas grill, which may be hot.
    • Please choose a flexible hose whose heat resistance is higher than 80℃. The  Flexible tube should be changed every 2 years.
    • It’s necessary to change the flexible tube when the national conditions require it.

    How to change your cylinder

    • The height of the gas cylinder is below 80 cm, and the width is within 35 cm.
    • Turn the orange cap so that the arrow is pointing to the gap in the shroud.
    •  Remove the orange safety cap by pulling the lanyard out, then out. Do not use tools. Leave the cap hanging.
    • Check that the black sealing washer is fitted inside the cylinder valve. Connect the regulator to the valve.
    • Turn the switch clockwise on the gas bottle-then turn on the gas grill as instructed.

How to disconnect a gas bottle

    • Except for twin-cylinder installations with a changeover valve, turn off the gas tap if fitted to the appliance.
    • Wait until the burner and pilot light have gone out.
    • For installations with a changeover valve, it is only necessary to switch off the empty cylinder.
    • Replace the orange safety cap on the empty cylinder.

    Operation

    • Always test the gas line for leaks at the connector with soapy water after making connections.
    • The top lid must always be open when lighting the burner.
    • Use oven gloves and sturdy, long-handled gas grill tools when cooking on the grill.
    • Be prepared if an accident or fire should occur. Know where the first aid kit and fire extinguishers are and know how to use them.
    • Keep any electrical supply cord and the fuel supply hose away from any heated surfaces.
    • Always cook with great care.
    • Do not heat any unopened glass or metal container of food on the grill. Pressure may build up and cause the container to burst, possibly resulting in serious personal injury or damage to the grill.

    Lighting instructions

    • It can spark to the burner lighting tube (C). You will hear a “snap” from the igniter, and you will also see an orange flame coming from the burner lighting tube at the left side of the burner (D).
    • Continue to hold the burner control knob in for two seconds after the “snafu”; this will allow gas to flow completely down the burner tube (E) and ensure ignition.
    • When the burner is alight, adjacent burners will cross-light when their controls are turned to “HIGH”.

    • At the “High” setting, the burner flame should be approximately 12-20mm long with a minimum of orange flame.
    • Turn the gas control fully anticlockwise for the minimum setting.
    • Should you have any difficulty lighting your gas grill following the above steps, contact your dealer for advice.
    • Replace the cooking grill and heat diffuser (hotplate). Please wear the fireproof and heat-resistant gloves.
    • Reduce the opening time of the lid.
    • Turn the grill off as soon as cooking is completed.
    • Preheat the gas grill for 10 to 15 minutes only. (Except for the first use)
    • Do not preheat longer than recommended.
    • Do not use a higher setting than required.
    • Connect the hose and regulator to the gas container on the left side of the gas grill.
    • Keeping in mind that the gas container must be kept away from heat and in a safe position.
    • The hose dimension is 8-10mm in diameter.
    • The Length of the hose recommended shall not exceed 1.5m.

    Maintainance

    Storage

    • Ensure that you are outdoors and away from any sources of ignition before attempting to disconnect your gas bottle from your gas grill.
    • When you are using your gas grill after a period of storage, please ensure to check for gas leaks and check for any obstructions in the burner, etc., before using.
    • Also, follow the cleaning instructions to ensure the gas grill is safe.

    Troubleshooting

    Problems Possible cause Prevention/ Solution
Gas is leaking between the LP tank and the regulator connection Improper installation, connection not tight, failure of the rubber seal Turn off the LP tank valve, remove the regulator from the cylinder, and visually inspect the upper seal for damage. See the LP tank test and the connection regulator to the LP tank
Fire coming through the control panel Fire in the burner tube section of the burner due to partial blockage Turn off the control knobs and the LP tank valve. After the fire is out and the grill is cold, remove the burner and inspect for spider nests or rust. See the natural hazard and cleaning the burner assembly pages.
Grease fire or  continuous excessive flames above the cooking surface Too much grease buildup in the burner area Turn off the LP Tank. Leave the lid open to allow flames to die down. After cooling, clean food particles and excess grease from inside the firebox area, the grease cup/pan/tray, and other surfaces
The burner will not light using the igniters. Gas issues

    1. Trying to light the wrong burner 2. Burner not engaged with control valve 3. Obstruction in the burner

    FAQs

Q: Is it safe to use this grill indoors or in enclosed spaces?

Ans: No. This is a gas barbecue for outside use only. Avoid using it inside, in garages, tents, or places with poor ventilation. Danger of fire or carbon monoxide poisoning.

Q: What is the maximum temperature it can reach?

Ans: With the lid closed, the Parforce One can reach temperatures of 300–350°C (570–660°F), which makes it ideal for indirect cooking, grilling vegetables, and searing meats.

Q: Can I use a griddle or pizza stone with this model?

Ans: Yes, but only if it fits within the grilling surface. Verify that attachments are heat-safe and don’t block the burner or ventilation.

Q: Does the grill have a warranty?

Ans: Yes, a two-year manufacturer’s guarantee is normally provided by Klarstein. It covers material and workmanship flaws. The guarantee is nullified by improper usage or unapproved modifications.

Q: How long does it take to preheat the grill?

Ans: Preheating to the optimal grilling temperatures of 200–250°C usually takes 5–10 minutes.

Q: Can I use the grill with a camping gas cartridge?

Ans: With the right adaptor (separately provided), certain Parforce One models might work with camping gas cartridges. For best results and safety, Klarstein advises using regular petrol bottles with a pressure regulator.

Q: Is there a flame failure safety device?

Ans: No, there isn’t an automated flame failure safety valve on the Parforce One. When using the grill, keep an eye on it at all times, and when it’s time to shut it down, follow the right procedures.
