FAQs
How do I turn on the scale?
The scale has auto-on technology, which turns it on when you simply step onto the platform. No buttons need to be pressed.
Does the scale turn off automatically?
Yes, in order to conserve battery life, it shuts down on its own after a few seconds of inactivity.
What type of battery does the scale use, and how do I replace it?
The typical CR2032 lithium battery powers the AD 8192. To swap it out, access the battery box behind the scale and put in a fresh, properly polarised battery.
Why does the scale show an “Err” message?
“Err” usually indicates that the weight on the scale is greater than the 180 kg limit. Get off the scale right away to prevent harm.
The scale shows inconsistent readings. What should I do?
Verify that the scale is not on carpet but rather a firm, level surface. For the most accurate results, weigh yourself at the same time of day, ideally without shoes or clothing.
Can multiple people use the scale?
The scale does not maintain user profiles, but it is made to be used by various users. To check their weight, each person only needs to step on.
