    Safety Instructions

    1. Connect the device only to a 5V⎓3A USB outlet.
    2. Take special care when using the device when children are around.
    3. Always remove the plug from the power outlet after use by holding the outlet with your hand.
    4. When removing the plug from the outlet, never pull on the power cord; only on the plug.
    5. Do not immerse the cable, lug, or the entire device in water or other liquid.
    6. Do not use the device near flammable materials.
    7. Do not leave the device or the power supply to the outlet unattended.
    8. Never use the device without water! This risks damaging it.
    9. Never direct a jet of hot steam or water toward your body.
    10. Never use the device with carbonated water!!!
    11. Never leave the device at temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius, as it risks damaging it.
    12. Always disconnect the device from the power supply before filling the tank with water.
    13. Use a liquid descaler designed for espresso machines to descale the machine.
    14. Never touch the brewing chamber during use.
    15. Use only original accessories.
    16. Do not rearrange or move the machine during operation.

    Before First Use

    1. Charging Illustration B page 3 (It takes ADLER AD 4400 Portable Electric Coffee Maker about 4 hours to fully charge).
    2. To charge, find the USB charging cable (10) and the charging port, which is located on the back of the main unit (2) under the silicone flap.
    3. Pull back the flap and connect the charging cable to the charging port.
    4. The indicator light will come on (5). It is divided into 4 parts, each of which represents 25% battery charge. When the battery is loaded

    To 100% (all 4 parts full), the lamp will light up and stop blinking. After a minute, it will go out completely.
    To check the charge level of the device, press the button (4) once. The indicator lamp will light up and show the percentage of battery charge.

    Using the Device

    1. Charge the device if you have not charged it before. Select the type of beverage.
    2. To do so, you can choose either ground coffee or capsule coffee.
    3. Pull the coffee cup (9) down. The cup should come down without any problem.
    4. Grab the main unit (2) with one hand and the brewing chamber (8) with the other.
    5. Make sure your grip is firm and secure.
    6. Turn the brewing chamber (8) in a clockwise direction. This may require a certain amount of force.
    7. Once unscrewed, one of the adapters is inside the chamber. Remove it.
    8. If you are using the adapter for ground coffee (page 3, Illustration D)
    9. Twist the lid of the adapter and pull it upward to get inside the adapter.
    10. If you are using a capsule adapter (page 4, Illustration D, subsection 3)
    11. Screw the brewing chamber very firmly to the main unit (page 4, Illustration D, subsection 4)
    12. Place the coffee cup on the main unit and place the entire assembled unit on a level surface so that it does not tilt during operation and fall over.
    13.  Remove the lid (1) from the main unit (2) (page 4, Illustration D, subsection 5).
    14.  Pour no more than 80ml (MAX) and no less than 50ml of water into the water container (3).
    15. There is a measuring cup inside the container.
    16. You can use either hot water (Not less than 90°C) or cold water.
    17.  Put the lid on.
    18. When the pumping is complete, there is prepared coffee in the coffee cup.

    Cleaning and Descaling

    1. Clean and sanitize the brewing chamber and adapter after each use.
    2. To do this, use col, clean water, and a dry paper towel or dry cloth.
    3. For decalcification, depending on the frequency of use, we use a decalcification liquid for espresso machines, and carry out decalcification as suggested by the manufacturer of the decalcification liquid.
    4. After performing descaling. Pour water ADLER AD 4400 Portable Electric Coffee Maker into the container to the MAX position and press the button (4) twice and pump the water. Pour out the water. Perform this operation twice.
    5. After descaling with a dry cloth or paper towel, dry the machine.

    Environmental Instructions

    FAQs

    What type of coffee does the ADLER AD 4400 make?

    The purpose of the AD 4400 is to brew ground coffee. It makes drip coffee quickly and smoothly, making it perfect for use at home, at the office, or on the go.

    Is the coffee maker truly portable?

    Indeed! The ADLER AD 4400 is ideal for personal use while travelling or commuting because it is small, light, and includes a travel mug.

    How much coffee can it brew at once?

    In a single cycle, it can make up to 420 ml (about 14 oz) of coffee, which is just enough to fill the travel mug that comes with it.

    Does it come with a reusable filter?

    You don’t need to buy paper filters because the unit comes with a permanent, reusable filter. After every usage, simply rinse.

    Can I use it with any mug or cup?

    The travel mug that comes with it is ideal because it fits neatly beneath the coffee outlet. Make sure the additional cup fits beneath the spout and won’t spill if you’re using it.

    How long does it take to brew a full cup?

    Depending on how much water and coffee are used, the brewing procedure takes three to five minutes.

    How do I clean the coffee maker?

    After unplugging the device, use warm, soapy water to clean the travel mug and filter basket. Use a moist cloth to clean the outside. Avoid submerging the base in water.

    Can I use the coffee maker in my car or camper?

    The AD 4400 is intended to be used indoors with conventional 220–240V AC outlets. 12V automobile sockets are not supported unless an appropriate power inverter is used.
