    Safety Instructions

    1. Do not use this appliance without reading these instructions.
    2. The use of other cleaning agents or chemicals may adversely affect the safety of the appliance.
    3. Do not use the appliance within the range of persons unless they wear protective clothing.
    4. High-pressure jets can be dangerous if subject to misuse.
    5. The jet must not be directed at persons, live electrical equipment, or the appliance itself.
    6. Risk of explosion – Do not spray flammable liquids.
    7. Disconnect from the electrical power supply before carrying out user maintenance.
    8. Water that has flown through backflow preventers is considered to be non-potable.
    9. High-pressure hoses, fittings, and couplings are important for forty percent of the appliance.
    10. Use only hoses, fittings, and couplings recommended by the manufacturer.
    11. Inadequate extension cords can be dangerous.

    Product Features

    • This machine is not suitable for connection to the potable water mains
    • Never use the machine in potentially explosive areas under any circumstances!
    • The operating temperature must be between 0 and +40°C.
    • For an optimal working position, the machine comes with a lance and a non-slip handle grip, whose shape and configuration comply with the applicable regulations.
    • Do not cover or modify the lance or the spray nozzles in any way.
    • Do not use water that is dirty, gritty, or contains any chemical products, as these could impair operation and shorten the life of the machine.

    Assembly

    • The high-pressure cleaner is designed to clean vehicles, machines, buildings, facades, etc., in the private sector.     • The washer must be used standing on a secure, stable, and level surface as shown.

    • Fit the lance into the gun and rotate it until the two parts are completely locked.The RP-1160 water supply hose connected to the washer inlet.

    • Connect the water supply hose to the female coupler. Then connect to the water inlet of the washer.
    • The water supply must be at least equal to the washer’s delivery capacity.

    • Check that the electrical supply voltage and frequency (Volt/Hz) correspond to those specified on the washer rating plate. If the power supply is correct, you may now plug in the washer.

    Operation

    Maintainance

    Before working on the washer, disconnect the lug from the power supply socket.

    Cleaning

    • Dissolve dirt by applying detergent with the fan jet to the dry surface.
    • On vertical surfaces, work from the bottom upwards.
    • Leave the detergent to act for 1 to 2 minutes, but do not allow it to dry out.
    • Apply the high from the surface, working from the bottom upwards.
    • Avoid allowing the rinsing water to run onto unwanted surfaces.

    Storage

    • Switch off the washer.
    • Turn off the water supply tap.
    • Discharge residual pressure by pressing the trigger until no more water comes out of the lance nozzle.
    • Engage the gun safety lock.
    • Remove the plug from the socket.

    Q: Can the washer be used indoors?

    No, because of the risks associated with electricity and water spray, the RP-1160 is only intended for outdoor use.

    Q: Can the washer handle sand or dirty water?

    No. It is best to use only clean water. Sand and other particles might shorten the pump’s lifespan and cause damage.

    Q: Can the washer clean vehicles?

    Yes, small trucks, motorcycles, and cars can all use the RP-1160. To avoid damaging paint, always use a wider spray angle and at a safe distance.

    Q: Can the washer be used for cleaning walls and patios?

    Indeed. To prevent surface damage, use the proper nozzle attachments and modify the distance.

    Q: Can the washer handle continuous use?

    Operate in 15–20 minute increments for prolonged cleaning to prevent engine damage and give the pump time to cool.
