To save power on the PROTECH QP6013 Temperature Humidity Data Logger, the logger’s flashing cycle can be changed to 20s or 30s via the supplied software. Alarm LEDs for temperature and humidity can also be disabled using the software. When both temperature and relative humidity readings exceed the alarm level synchronously, the LED status alternates every cycle.

For example, if there is only one alarm, the REC LED blinks for one cycle, and the alarm LED will blink for the next cycle. If there are two alarms, the REC LED will not blink. The first alarm will blink for the first cycle, and the next alarm will blink for the next cycle.

    Installation

    1. Insert the Battery in the Data logger.
    2. Insert the data logger into the computer/Laptop.
    3. Open the setup.exe in the extracted folder and install it.
    4. Open the previously installed Datalogger software from the desktop or start menu and set up the datalogger according to your needs.
    5. If successful, you notice the LEDs are flashing.
    6. Setup complete.

    FAQs

Q: Can I adjust the data logging interval?

Yes, based on your monitoring requirements, you may usually select the interval between one second and several hours. Shorter intervals use the battery more quickly but provide more detailed data.

Q: Does it have an alarm function?

It is possible to establish thresholds for both high and low humidity and temperature. If values surpass the predetermined limitations, the gadget will notify you via an LED warning or an on-screen alert.

Q: How do I calibrate the device?

The software or a reference thermometer/hygrometer are typically used for calibration. To guarantee accurate readings, adhere to the manual’s calibration recommendations.

Q: Can the logger be used in freezers or refrigerators?

As long as the temperature stays within the device’s parameters, the QP6013 is appropriate for cold storage monitoring.

Q: Can multiple loggers be used together?

Indeed, a number of QP6013 loggers can function independently in various locations. The software allows users to get individual or combined data from each.

Q: Does the device have a display?
