FAQs
Q: Does the antenna require power or batteries?
No, the Hama 00221085 is a passive indoor antenna that operates without the need for batteries or external power.
Q: Will this antenna work in areas with weak DAB signals?
Yes, it can enhance reception, but how well it works depends on the surroundings and how close you are to DAB transmitters. For the best reception in regions with very weak signals, an exterior antenna could be necessary.
Q: Can I use this antenna with multiple radios?
Yes, but if you wish to connect several radios at once, you’ll need a signal splitter. Using splitters may result in a drop in signal intensity.
Q: Is the Hama 00221085 compatible with all DAB/DAB+ radios?
Any radio with a regular DAB/DAB+ antenna input can use it. If you’re not sure about the type of connector, check your radio’s handbook.
Q: Will using this antenna improve stereo or mono sound quality?
By strengthening the signal, the antenna lowers static and dropouts. Stronger signals enable your radio to preserve the intended stereo or mono broadcast quality, improving sound quality indirectly.
Q: Where can I find detailed specifications?
The official Hama 00221085 user manual contains technical details such as frequency range, cable length, and connector type.
