FAQs
Q: What is the capacity of the kettle?
The minimum suggested fill is 0.5 litres, while the maximum water volume is 1.7 litres. While underfilling could activate the boil-dry safety mechanism, overfilling could result in boiling water spilling.
Q: How does the automatic shut-off work?
A thermostat sensor built inside the kettle senses when the water reaches a rolling boil. To avoid boiling over or overheating, it will turn off automatically.
Q: What is boil-dry protection, and why is it important?
With boil-dry protection, the kettle won’t run without water.
Q: Can I use the kettle to heat liquids other than water?
No. This kettle is only meant to be used with water. Boiling other liquids, such as milk or oil, could harm the kettle or pose a risk to public safety.
Q: Is the kettle cordless?
Indeed. The kettle is cordless in and of itself.
Q: Why is there steam coming from the lid?
Normal steam is a sign that the water has boiled or is almost boiling. When opening or pouring, always use caution to prevent burns.
Q: Can I leave the kettle plugged in after boiling?
Indeed. The automatic shut-off ensures that the kettle stays off after boiling.
