Introduction

Thank you for choosing this air conditioner to provide you and your family with all of the home comfort requirements for your home, cottage, or office. The appliance can be moved from room to room within your home and set up in just minutes. It is a multi-functional room air exchanging, air-processing appliance, designed to offer you the functions of Air Conditioning, Dehumidification, and an Independent fan. This manual will provide you with valuable information necessary for the proper care and maintenance of your new appliance. Please take a few minutes and read the instructions thoroughly. If properly maintained, your appliance will give you many years of trouble-free operation.

Safety Instructions

When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following:

1. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
3. Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
4. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be repaired by the Authorized Service Agent.
5. Never pull on the cord when unplugging.
6. Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.

Control Panel

Mode Control

• Cool
• Dehumidify
• Adjust the fan speed and air temperature to suit your desired comfort level.
• Air is dehumidified as it passes through the unit, without being in full cooling mode.
• The fan will operate at medium speed.
• Used for adjusting the timer and thermostat.
• The default display is room temperature.
• In cooling mode, when the or button is pressed, the set temperature is displayed and may be adjusted. After 15 seconds, the display will revert to room temperature. Temperature is only adjustable in cool mode. The time is adjustable between 1~24 hours.

Remote Control

The functions work the same as your air conditioner’s touch controls.

Batteries: Remove the cover on the back of the remote controller and insert the batteries with the (+) and (- ) poles pointing in the proper direction.

6. Wing nuts 2 sets

1. Connect the connectors 2 and 3 to the 2 sides of Orbegozo ADR 92 LOCAL AIR CONDITIONER the exhaust hose to create an exhaust assembly.
2. Sliding in one end of hose assembly (with hose connector 2) into the rear panel, and push the rocker switch to fix the hose assembly firmly.
3. Insert the window panels B and C at each end of main panel A. Adjust to fix the length of the window panels by using the screws and nuts mounted on the 2 ends of main panel A.
4. Open the window and place the window Orbegozo ADR 92 LOCAL AIR CONDITIONER panels into the window. Adjust the extension panels to fit the width or height of the window by using the screw and nut sets mounted on the main panel A.
5. Insert the other end of the exhaust hose assembly (with hose connector #3) onto the window bracket.
6. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet and press the “Power” button.
7. Please allow 8″ of space around the unit for proper air circulation.
8. Simply place the cover #5) over the hole in the window panel.

Maintenance after using

1. Before storing away, run the unit in fan mode only for a few hours to dry any moisture on the coils to prevent mold.
2. Stop the appliance and pull out the power supply plug, then take out the batteries of the remote controller and keep it in a safe place.
3. Clean the air filter and reinstall it.
4. Remove the air hoses and keep them in a safe place, and cover the hole tightly.

Q: Does the ADR 92 require installation?
Ans: It doesn’t require a permanent installation. But you have to use the window kit and exhaust pipe that come with it to expel the hot air outdoors. This is necessary for correct functioning.

Q: Can I use this air conditioner without venting?
Ans: No. The ADR 92 needs to expel heated air outdoors through a window or other opening, just like any other portable air conditioner.
