    FAQs

What is the Cabasse EOLE 4 system?
With five spherical satellite speakers and a robust subwoofer, the Cabasse EOLE 4 is a small 5.1-channel speaker system.

Can I wall-mount the satellite speakers?
Indeed. With the swivel ball-joint wall mounts that the Eole 4 satellites come with, you may tilt and rotate them for the best directionality.

Can the satellites be mounted on the ceiling?
Of course. They are appropriate for Dolby Atmos height channels or custom configurations because the mounting hardware that comes with the package supports both wall and ceiling installations.

Do I need an AV receiver for this system?
Indeed. Except the subwoofer, the EOLE 4 is a passive speaker system; hence, an AV receiver with speaker terminals and 5.1 surround output is required.

How do I connect the subwoofer?
An RCA subwoofer cable is used to connect the active (powered) Lipari 21 subwoofer to the LFE (subwoofer out) port on your AV receiver.

What’s the recommended speaker wire gauge?
Depending on how far your receiver is from the satellites, use speaker wire that is 16 AWG or 14 AWG.

How big of a room can the EOLE 4 system handle?
Small to medium-sized spaces (up to about 25–30 m² or 270–320 ft²) are ideal for it. Upgrade to a more potent Cabasse arrangement or add additional speakers for larger spaces.

Can I use the EOLE 4 for music listening as well?
Indeed. Because of Cabasse’s balanced coaxial driver design, the system works incredibly well with stereo music even though it is optimised for surround sound.
