    FAQs

Q: What is the FRIGIDAIRE FEC350WH02?

It is a portable evaporative cooler heater that may be used all year round because it has fan, heating, and cooling capabilities.

Q: How does the evaporative cooling function work?

Warm air is drawn in by the unit, which then blows out cooler, humidified air after passing it through moist cooling pads. Because high humidity inhibits its efficiency, it functions best in arid regions.

Q: Can I use ice or cold water for faster cooling?

Indeed, especially on hot days, adding ice or cooled water can improve cooling efficacy.

Q: How often should I replace the cooling pads?

Every two to three months, or sooner if there is mould, mineral buildup, or decreased airflow, replace the pads.

Q: Does the unit have a timer function?

Yes, you can program the timer to shut off automatically after a predetermined number of hours using the control panel or remote.

Q: How do I use the oscillation feature?

For broader coverage, turn the air outlet by pressing the oscillation button. Additionally, louvres can be manually adjusted.

Q: Can I use the unit in a small room?

Indeed. Compact and lightweight, the FEC350WH02 is perfect for small to medium-sized spaces. Make sure there are no obstructions to the airflow.

Q: Can I use hard water in the tank?

Yes, however, there’s a chance of mineral accumulation. Think about using distilled water or using vinegar to clean the pads regularly.
