    FAQs

What type of battery does the M18 FORCE LOGIC 5 Cable Cutter use?

Milwaukee’s M18 REDLITHIUM (18V) battery packs are used in the tool. It offers cordless power and a longer run time and works with all M18 batteries.

What size and type of cables can the FORCE LOGIC 5 cut?

The cutter is made to safely and effectively cut copper and aluminium cables up to 5/0 AWG, or 1.91 cm in diameter.

How do I maintain the cutting blades?

Check the blades for damage and sharpness regularly. After usage, clean the blades to avoid accumulation. To guarantee optimum performance, replace blades as necessary with authentic Milwaukee replacement parts.

How long does the battery last on a full charge?

Using a fully charged M18 battery pack usually enables many cuts per charge, while battery life varies based on wire size and cutting frequency.

Can I use the cutter for materials other than copper and aluminum cables?

The tool is exclusively designed to work with copper and aluminium cables. Cutting other materials could void the warranty or harm the blades.

What should I do if the cutter jams or won’t cut?

Let go of the trigger right away. Look for any obstacles or cables that are too big. If jammed, call Milwaukee service or consult the handbook for instructions on clearing the blade.

How do I reset the tool if it stops working during use?

Take out the battery pack and put it back in. Press the reset button if the tool has one, or refer to the manual’s troubleshooting instructions if the tool is still not working.

    Are replacement parts available?

Yes, through authorised dealers and the official website, Milwaukee provides authentic replacement blades, batteries, chargers, and other accessories.
