- Heat gun plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way.
- Do not use any adapter plugs with an earthed (grounded) heat gun.
- Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Do not expose the heat gun to rain or wet conditions.
- Water entering a heat gun will increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the heat gun.
- Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
- Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
- When operating a heat gun outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use.
- Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
- Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a heat gun.
- A moment of inattention while operating a heat gun may result in serious personal injury.

FAQs
Q: What is the PROTECH TH1069 Heat Gun used for?
Paint removal, plastic welding, shrink wrapping, thawing frozen pipes, removing adhesives, and bending PVC are just a few of the many uses for the 2000-watt PROTECH TH1069 heat gun.
Q: What are the adjustable temperature settings?
The TH1069 has temperature control that may be adjusted between 50°C and 600°C (122°F and 1112°F). You can choose the exact heat level required for your particular work with the dial.
Q: Can I use the heat gun for paint stripping?
Indeed. When it comes to getting rid of old paint or varnish, the TH1069 is great. To prevent burning, use a scraper in addition to the gun and keep a safe distance of two to three centimetres from the surface.
Q: How do I change the nozzle attachments?
Before replacing the nozzles, always unplug the heat gun and let it cool fully. Just make sure the attachment is firmly installed by sliding it onto the nozzle outlet.
Q: Is the heat gun safe for continuous high-temperature use?
Yes, but it has an integrated thermal protection mechanism that turns off the heater on its own if the inside temperature rises above safe limits. Before restarting, let the tool cool down.
Q: Can I use the TH1069 to dry or defrost materials?
Indeed. It can be used to defrost frozen pipes and locks, dry damp wood, and remove moisture from surfaces. But stay away from applying heat to flammable materials or electrical components.
Q: Is the TH1069 suitable for shrinking electrical tubing?
Of course. To evenly reduce the tubing without burning, use the low heat setting and maintain the nozzle 5 to 10 cm away from the tube.
