Trust MAGC-2300 Smart Outdoor Socket Switch

Installation

Place the socket switch in an outlet. To connect the socket switch with a Matter App, proceed to step 2. To connect the socket switch with a Trust Switch-In Start-Line transmitter, proceed to step 3.
Connection

Make sure your phone or tablet is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network and not to a 5 GHz WiFi network.
- Open the Matter App (e.g., Apple Home or Google Home App) on your phone or tablet.
- Shortly, press the button on the socket switch to start the Matter pairing mode.
- The LED indicator on the socket switch will blink green. (The Matter pairing mode lasts for 5 minutes; connect the socket switch to a Matter App within these 5 minutes.)
- Follow the instructions in the App to connect a new Matter device. If you are unable to connect the socket switch, reset it according to the “Reset Matter Switch” step.
Pairing
- Short-press the button on the switch to start the pairing mode.
- The LED indicator on the switch will blink green. (The Start-Line pairing mode lasts for 12 seconds.)
- During the pairing mode (within 12 seconds), send an ON signal using a Trust Switch-In transmitter.
- The switch will make a clicking sound 4 times to confirm that the pairing was successful.
- The switch can store up to 32 different transmitters in its memory.
- The paired transmitters will remain stored even if the switch is moved to another outlet.
Wireless Control
- Use the paired Start-Line transmitter to send an ON signal to wirelessly turn on the light/device.
- Use the paired Start-Line transmitter to send an OFF signal to wirelessly turn off the light/device.
Reset

- First, disconnect any connected devices from the switch before performing this step.
- Lights may remain connected.
- To reset Matter, press and hold the button on the switch for 15 seconds until the LED blinks red.
- When the LED blinks red, press and hold the button again for 6 seconds.
- The switch will click 4 times to confirm the reset.
Removing
- First, disconnect any connected devices from the switch before performing this step.
- Lights may remain connected.
- Shortly, press the button on the switch to activate the pairing mode.
- The pairing mode will be active for 12 seconds, and the LED indicator on the switch will blink green.
- While the pairing mode is active (within 12 seconds), send an OFF signal with the connected Trust.
- Switch-In transmitter. (Refer to the transmitter’s manual if needed.
- The switch will click 4 times to confirm that the transmitter has been removed.
Start Line Memory
- First, disconnect any connected Trust MAGC-2300 Smart Outdoor Socket Switch devices from the switch before performing this step. Lights may remain connected.
- To reset the Start-Line memory, press and hold the button on the switch for 15 seconds until the LED blinks red.
- When the LED blinks red, press the button briefly again.
- The switch will click 4 times to confirm the reset.
Memory With Remote
- First, disconnect any connected devices from the switch before performing this step.
- Lights may remain connected.
- Shortly, press the button on the switch to activate the pairing mode.
- The pairing mode will be active for 12 seconds, and the LED indicator on the switch will blink green.
- While the pairing mode is active (within 12 seconds), send a GROUP OFF signal with the connected Trust Switch-In transmitter. (Refer to the transmitter’s manual if needed.
- The switch will click 4 times to confirm the reset.
