Intended Use
The appliance is designed and manufactured for professional use and may only be operated by qualified personnel in restaurants, canteens, and similar establishments. The Bain-Marie is intended exclusively for keeping food warm in suitable GN containers. Do not use the Bain-Marie for:
- Preparing food, filling and heating liquids or substances that are flammable, highly volatile, harmful to health, etc.
Installation and Operation
- Unpack the appliance and remove all packaging materials.
- Never remove the rating plate and warning signs from the appliance.
- Never place the appliance near the edge of a table to prevent it from tipping over or falling.
- Never place the appliance on a flammable surface.
- Never place the appliance in a damp environment.
- Never place the appliance near open flames, electric heaters, boilers, or other heat sources.
- Do not place the appliance near walls made of flammable material.
- Before first use, thoroughly clean the appliance according to the instructions in Chapter 6, “Cleaning.”
- Then set the temperature control to the “0” position.
- Fill the water container. Adjust the fill level to the depth of the GN containers used.
Indication
Make sure the water level does not fall below the “MIN” indication! Check the water level regularly during use!
- Connect the appliance to a suitable electrical outlet.
- Switch the appliance on using the ON/OFF switch.
- The green mains indicator light in the switch will illuminate.
- Set the temperature control to the desired temperature.
- The appliance is ready to keep food warm.
- Wait until the appliance has cooled down before draining the water through the drain tap.

- You should hear a distinct “click” sound. The appliance is ready for use again.
Cleaning
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply (unplug it!) before cleaning. The appliance is not suitable for rinsing with a direct jet of water. Therefore, do not use a high-pressure water jet to clean the appliance! Make sure that no water can enter the appliance. We recommend contacting a company specializing in disposal.
Transport, Packaging, and Storage
Inspection upon Delivery
Upon delivery, immediately check that the device is complete and undamaged. If there is clearly visible transport damage, do not accept the delivered device or only accept it with reservations. Note the damage on the supplier’s transport documents/delivery document. Subsequently, file a complaint. Report hidden defects immediately upon discovery, as claims for damages are only possible within the complaint period.
Packaging
Do not throw away the appliance’s packaging. You can use it for storage, during a move, or if you need to return the appliance to our service center if it is damaged. Before using the appliance, completely remove the outer and inner packaging material from the appliance.
Storage
Keep the packaging closed until installation, and in accordance with the location and storage markings on the outside. Store packaged devices only as follows:
- Do not store outdoors.
- Store in a dry and dust-free place.
- Do not expose yourself to aggressive substances.
- Protect from sunlight.
- Avoid mechanical impact.
- For extended storage (> 3 months), regularly check the general condition of all components and the packaging. Repair or replace if necessary.
