    FAQs

Q: How many place settings does the Poseidon dishwasher hold?

The RHDSM4001 Poseidon is perfect for small families or medium-sized households because it can contain up to 10 place settings.

Q: Can I wash delicate glassware in this dishwasher?

Yes, although using the “Glass” or “Gentle” programs is preferable. This cycle protects delicate objects by using lower water pressure and temperatures.

    Q: Can I open the door mid-cycle?

Sure, but watch out—hot steam can leak out. After a short pause, the cycle will automatically restart when you close the door again.

Q: What type of detergent should I use?

Gel detergents, pills, or dishwasher powder can be used. Regular dish soap may produce too much suds or harm the device, so always use the detergent in the specified dispenser.

Q: How often should I clean the filter system?

At least once a week, or more frequently if food debris is visible, clean the filter assembly.

Q: Can I wash pots and pans in the Poseidon dishwasher?

Indeed! For grease and baked-on food, use the Intensive cycle, which has a greater temperature and a stronger spray pressure.

Q: The dishwasher has an unpleasant smell—how do I fix it?

Clean the filter, spray arms, and door seals, and run an empty cycle with white vinegar or dishwashing cleanser. Don’t spend a lot of time with unclean dishes indoors.

Q: Why is there water left in the bottom after a cycle?

It’s typical to have a little water in the sump region to keep the seals from drying out. However, look for a blocked filter or a clogged drain line if there is standing water covering the filter.
