FAQs
Q: How do I use the Russell Hobbs Luna Boil Electric Kettle?
Press the power switch to turn on the kettle after filling it to the brim with water and setting it on the base. When the water is boiled, the kettle will automatically turn off.
Q: What is the capacity of the Luna Boil Kettle?
With its 1.7-liter capacity, the kettle is perfect for brewing several cups of tea, coffee, or fast meals at once.
Q: Can I boil less than 1 cup of water in the kettle?
Yes, however, to prevent harm to the heating element, always make sure the water level is higher than the minimum fill line.
Q: Does the kettle have an automatic shut-off feature?
Indeed. When the water reaches the boiling temperature, the Luna Boil kettle shuts off on its own. Additionally, it contains a boil-dry protection mechanism that stops it from working when the water within is gone.
Q: Can I use the kettle for beverages other than water?
No, the kettle’s sole purpose is to boil water. Using different liquids could void the warranty and harm the heating element.
Q: Can the kettle be operated without the base?
No, in order to ensure a proper electrical connection, the kettle needs to stay on the base. The kettle’s internal heating element is powered by the base.
Q: Is the kettle cordless?
Indeed. The kettle is cordless, so it’s easy to lift and pour without being constrained by a power cord after it’s set on the base to boil.
Q: How do I know when the water is boiling?
When the water hits 100°C (212°F), the kettle automatically shuts off. Additionally, some models contain an indication light that switches off when the boiling process is finished.
