FAQs
Q: What is the maximum temperature?
The grill can reach a temperature of 200°C (392°F). This works well for preparing delicate foods like fish and veggies, toasting sandwiches, and searing meats.
Q: Can I adjust the temperature?
Yes, you can select the ideal heat for your recipe thanks to the grill’s adjustable temperature control. While higher temperatures are perfect for searing, lower temperatures work well for warming or melting cheese.
Q: Is the grill non-stick?
Indeed, the plates include a non-stick coating that keeps food from sticking, making cleaning and cooking much simpler. To avoid harming the coating, stay away from using metal utensils.
Q: Can I cook frozen food directly on the grill?
You can prepare frozen foods like veggies or burgers. Preheat the grill and cook slightly longer than fresh food for optimal results. To guarantee even cooking, turn the meat halfway through.
Q: What is the difference between the top floating plate and a fixed plate?
To ensure even cooking and pressing, the floating top plate automatically adapts to the thickness of your meal. This makes it possible to grill thick sandwiches or larger portions of meat consistently.
Q: Can I use the grill vertically?
Indeed, when not in use, this model’s vertical storage option saves kitchen space. It should always be fully cooled before being moved or stored upright.
Q: Is it safe to touch the exterior while cooking?
Although the outside heats up a little, the cool-touch handles reduce the chance of burns. When making adjustments to food in the middle of cooking, always exercise caution.
Q: Can I cook delicate foods like fish or vegetables without sticking?
Indeed! To guarantee that delicate foods cook evenly without sticking, use a modest amount of oil and moderate heat. Additionally, the floating plate aids in maintaining steady contact without crushing delicate delicacies.
