Operation

Installation
Remove the protective covers from the HEPA and activated carbon filters and reinsert the filters into the device.
- Remove the right cover.
- Put the activated charcoal filter.
Fragrance depot
- Remove the left cover.
- Remove the cover from the fragrance depot.
Connect power
- To reduce the risk of electric shock in KLARSTEIN 10031190 TRAMONTANA Air Purifier in the event of a fault or malfunction, the unit must be connected to a grounded outlet.
- Plug the power plug securely into the wall socket.
Remove and attach the cover.
- Removing the cover: Lift the device slightly with one hand and open the cover from below with the other hand.
- Attaching the cover: Slide the top of the cover into the holder on the device. Then press the button into the housing.

Functions
- Press the FUNCTION button repeatedly to select KLARSTEIN 10031190 TRAMONTANA Air Purifier, the functions in the following order.
- ION> OZONE> ION & OZONE> NO FUNCTION. The display will light up as follows:
- The ozone function can be optionally selected.
- People should stay away from the device while the ozone function is in operation. The device automatically switches to the ion function after 1 hour.
- HEPA filter, activated carbon filter, and photocatalyst are basic functions and are in operation as soon as you switch on the device.
CLEANING AND CARE
- Do not clean the device with water.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners for cleaning.
- Do not clean the device with solvents, as these agents can cause deformation or discolouration.
- Do not use chemical cleaners for cleaning.
Replacing the UV lamp
- When the UV symbol flashes, the UV lamp needs to be replaced
- Remove the right cover and take out the HEPA filter.
- Hold the UV lamp, turn it 90 °, and remove it.
- Hold the new UV lamp securely and attach it to the holder. Then turn it 90 °.
- Reinstall the HEPA filter and replace the cover.
TROUBLESHOOTING
