FAQs
What is the main feature of the Touchless Sensor Trash Bin?
Hands-free, hygienic garbage disposal is made possible by the bin’s motion-activated sensor, which opens the lid when your hand or an object gets close.
How close do I need to be for the sensor to detect movement?
The majority of units react between 10 and 20 cm from the sensor window. Waving your hands too quickly or too far away could delay detection.
Can I open the lid manually?
Indeed. When cleaning or when the sensor area is blocked, the lid can also be opened manually using the open/close buttons on the control panel.
What type of batteries does this trash bin require?
Usually, the device runs on AA batteries (the model determines how many). For optimal performance, use premium alkaline batteries. Rechargeable batteries might function as well, but they might make the sensor less responsive.
How long do the batteries last?
Although battery life varies depending on usage, it can last several months in a typical home. High traffic regions or frequent lid openings may shorten battery life.
Does the lid close automatically?
Indeed. When it no longer detects movement, the lid automatically closes after a brief interval (usually 3–5 seconds).
Can I use standard trash bags with this bin?
Indeed. Standard home garbage bags are compatible with the bin’s design. Make sure the bag is fastened around the rim or, if present, the interior container.
Is the bin suitable for kitchen use?
Of course. It is perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and other spaces where hygiene is a top concern because of its touchless design and sealed cover.
