FAQs
Q: Do I need to preheat the Vigor Air Fryer before cooking?
Ans: While not always necessary, preheating is recommended for best results, especially when cooking items that need a crispy finish (like fries or wings). Use the preheat option before adding food if your recipe calls for it.
Q: Can I use the fryer right out of the box?
Ans: Not quite. You should first remove all packaging, wash the accessories, and run the fryer empty for 15–20 minutes at high heat to eliminate any manufacturing residues or odors.
Q: What type of outlet does this fryer require?
Ans: The Vigor Air requires a standard grounded 230V AC power outlet. Avoid using extension cords or power strips with multiple high-powered appliances.
Q: How many preset cooking programs are there?
Ans: The Vigor Air features 18 smart cooking presets, including options for fries, chicken, fish, steak, pizza, baking, dehydrating, and reheating. Each program is optimized for temperature and time.
Q: Can I manually adjust temperature and time?
Ans: Yes. You can override presets and set custom time (up to 60 minutes) and temperature (from 30 °C to 230 °C) to match your recipe requirements.
Q: Is it possible to cook multiple items at once?
Ans: Yes, thanks to its spacious 30-litre capacity and multi-level cooking trays. However, leave enough space between items for air to circulate to ensure even cooking.
Q: What does the “dual cooking” mode do?
Ans: Dual cooking allows you to program two different cooking stages in one go. For example, start by baking and then finish with a crisping function without interrupting the cycle.
Q: Are the accessories dishwasher safe?
Ans: It’s best to wash accessories by hand with mild detergent and warm water. Dishwashing may reduce the lifespan of non-stick coatings over time.
