    Maintainance

    REPAIRS

Any repairs and replacement of spare parts should be carried out by an authorised service centre; otherwise, there is a risk of personal injury and/or material damage. Switch off the product and pull out the plug before working on it.

    Troubleshooting

    Problem

    • The product runs, but delivers no water.
    • The product does not work, or suddenly stops when running
    • The motor starts again immediately after switching off.
    • The transported amount of water is too little.
    • Vibrating noise when water is taken out.

    Cause

    • Air in the pump. Air does not come out on the outlet side.
    • Power supply disconnected. The overheating protection trips and switches off the product.
    • The pressure in the system drops quickly. Air pressure is too low in the storage tank.
    • The non-return valve does not close properly. The diaphragm in the pressure tank is damaged.
    • The inlet filter is dirty, or the non-return valve does not close properly.
    • The transported amount of water depends on the total lifting height and the arrangement of the lines.
    • The pre-filter is dirty. The diaphragm in the pressure tank vibrates.

    Action

    • See section on preparations. Open the tap on the outlet side. Check fuses and connections.
    • Pull out the plug, allow the product to cool, and clear the intake system. Prevent dry running.
    • Check all the connections and seals, and check the Meec Tools 015255 600 W Hydrophone Pump water outlet. Even a very minor leakage has an adverse effect.
    • Adjust the air pressure in the storage tank to 2.0 bar.
    • Check the non-return valve on the suction side.
    • Replace the diaphragm. Clean the inlet filter or non-return valve.
    • Do not exceed the maximum permitted lifting height as per the section on technical data.
    • Use lines with another diameter and/ or length. Remove the filter and clean under running water.
    • Noise can be reduced by reducing the air pressure in the storage tank.

    Limited Warranty

Normal Wear: Many power tools need periodic parts replacement and service to achieve the best performance. This warranty does not cover repair when normal use has exhausted the life of a part, including, but not limited to, chucks, brushes, cords, saw shoes, blade clamps, o-rings, seals, bumpers, driver blades, pistons, strikers, lifters, and bumper cover.

    FAQs

What is the Meec Tools 015255 Hydrophone Pump used for?

This pump is made to supply water to small-scale water distribution activities, irrigation systems, and home systems from wells, tanks, or reservoirs.

    How powerful is the pump?

It has a 600 W motor that offers steady pressure and dependable suction for regular household water pumping requirements.

What type of water can it handle?

The pump is designed for water that is either clean or somewhat dirty and devoid of big particles. It works best with naturally clean or filtered water sources.

Does it come with an integrated pressure switch?

Hydrophone-style pumps typically include a pressure tank or pressure switch system. Depending on the kit version, your model may come with built-in pressure control. Always check your product packaging or manual for specifics.

What is the maximum suction depth?

The majority of 600 W home jet/hydro pumps are capable of drawing water from intermediate depths. For precise figures, consult your handbook; for pumps in this class, the usual suction depth is between 7 and 9 meters.

Is it suitable for continuous operation?

It is designed for intermittent household use. While durable, it should not run dry or operate for long periods without breaks to avoid overheating.

    Does the pump need priming?

Indeed. It needs to be primed with water both before the first use and each time the system is emptied, just like the majority of surface-mounted hydro pumps.

    Can it be used outdoors?

Yes, however in order to shield the motor and electrical components from moisture and rain, it should be positioned in a dry, protected, and well-ventilated area.
