Operation and Use
- The drill bit must be sharp. When installing the hollow drill, insert the central needle into the hollow drill.
- Install the hollow drill on the output shaft, and finally, tighten the fixing screw to secure the hollow drill.
- The machine should be fastened with a Vevor 8840-D8840-8850E Magnetic Drill safety belt when working on the side or top.
- Thread one end of the safety belt into the handle hole of the frame, tie the other end to the strong frame, and then buckle it into the fasteners.
- Turn on the power switch to check whether the drill bit is beating and the sound is stable.
- If everything is normal, open the water valve first so that the cutting fluid in the oil can flow out, and then turn the handle to feed
- Feed should be slow at first. Do not exert too much in case of overload.
- If the motor suddenly stops or gets stuck due to a fault, the drill control switch must be turned off immediately.
- After continuous use for 2-3 hours, you need to rest to prevent the electromagnetic seat from burning out due to overheating.
- When the carbon brush is worn out, please replace it in time (both of them should be replaced at the same time).
Adjustment of the Track
Fix B1 at B, then connect B2 to B1 and C
Turn the joystick to determine whether Vevor 8840-D8840-8850E Magnetic Drill the tightness of the track meets the drilling requirements. If the tightness is not ideal, you can adjust it with the open wrench and the hex wrench in the attachment.
Loosen the hex nut at place A with an open wrench. Use the hex wrench to adjust the set screw at A and turn the joystick simultaneously to feel whether the tightness of the track reaches the ideal state of drilling. After adjustment, tighten the hex nut at A with the open-end wrench.
Maintainance & Storage
- After each use, clean the bottom of the magnetic seat drill and keep it properly.
- Please butter the track in time when the slide is not smooth.
- Please check the electrical protection device regularly.
- Whether grounding is reliable.
- Please check in on time during the rainy season.

FAQs
Q: What is a magnetic drill?
A portable drilling device having a magnetic base that firmly fastens to steel surfaces is called a magnetic drill. For precision drilling in metal production, construction, and maintenance tasks, the Vevor 8840-D8840-8850E series was created.
Q: What materials can this drill cut through?
Iron and steel are examples of ferrous metals for which they are designed. An alternate clamping technique is required since non-ferrous materials, such as wood or aluminium, cannot be drilled because the magnetic base will not adhere.
Q: How does the magnetic base work?
When plugged in and turned on, the electromagnetic base comes to life. Even while drilling with high torque, it creates a powerful magnetic field that keeps the drill securely attached to a ferrous surface.
Q: Can I use the drill on non-metal surfaces?
No, only ferrous metals are compatible with the magnetic basis. For other materials, secure the drill with clamps or other fasteners.
Q: Can I use the drill vertically or horizontally?
Indeed. On appropriate steel surfaces, the magnetic base enables drilling in a vertical, horizontal, or upward direction. Before beginning, make sure the magnet is firmly attached.
Q: Can this drill perform deep-hole drilling?
Yes, using the appropriate extension arbour and annular cutter, but don’t go deeper than the manual’s maximum cutter depth.
Q: Can I use the drill on rusty or painted steel?
Paint or mild corrosion can weaken magnetic adherence. For optimal magnet strength, use sandpaper or a wire brush to clean the surface.
Q: Can I use the drill for tapping or reaming?
Yes, with the proper attachment; however, to prevent damage, make sure the drill’s RPM and feed pressure are set correctly.
