    FAQs

Q: What is the recommended cutting depth?

Depending on the size of the blade, the DC305 can normally cut up to 120 mm (4.7 inches).
Avoid going deeper than the maximum cutting depth and always check the blade specs.

Q: Can I use the DC305 for angled cuts or bevels?

Yes, depending on the blade guard and movable base (if supplied), the saw may permit bevel or angled cuts.

Q: Can the saw be used outdoors in the rain?

The DC305 isn’t waterproof, sorry. Avoid working in damp environments without appropriate water and moisture protection.

Q: What type of power supply does the DC305 require?

Usually, the saw runs on 220–240V AC, 50/60Hz (check the voltage unique to your model).

Q: Can the DC305 saw cut through asphalt?

Indeed. When equipped with an asphalt-rated blade, the DC305 can efficiently cut asphalt. Multiple shallow passes are safer and more effective than making continuous deep cuts, which can overheat the blade. Instead, use steady, moderate pressure.

Q: Can I use the saw for decorative stone or tiles?

Indeed. For stone or tile, use a blade made especially for it to prevent chipping or breaking. To avoid vibration, always cut carefully and support the material.

Q: Can I use this saw for demolition purposes?

Consider employing a demolition saw or jackhammer to break massive walls or slabs.

Q: Is it safe to cut near rebar?

Sparks and increased blade wear can result from cutting through rebar. Always wear gloves and eye protection.
