Operation and Use
- The drill bit must be sharp. When installing the hollow drill, insert the central needle into the hollow drill.
- Install the hollow drill on the output shaft, and finally, tighten the fixing screw to secure the hollow drill.
- The machine should be fastened with a Vevor 8840-D8840-8850E Magnetic Drill safety belt when working on the side or top.
- Thread one end of the safety belt into the handle hole of the frame, tie the other end to the strong frame, and then buckle it into the fasteners.
- Turn on the power switch to check whether the drill bit is beating and the sound is stable.
- If everything is normal, open the water valve first so that the cutting fluid in the oil can flow out, and then turn the handle to feed
- Feed should be slow at first. Do not exert too much in case of overload.
- If the motor suddenly stops or gets stuck due to a fault, the drill control switch must be turned off immediately.
- After continuous use for 2-3 hours, you need to rest to prevent the electromagnetic seat from burning out due to overheating.
- When the carbon brush is worn out, please replace it in time (both of them should be replaced at the same time).
Adjustment of the Track
Fix B1 at B, then connect B2 to B1 and C
Turn the joystick to determine whether Vevor 8840-D8840-8850E Magnetic Drill the tightness of the track meets the drilling requirements. If the tightness is not ideal, you can adjust it with the open wrench and the hex wrench in the attachment.
Loosen the hex nut at place A with an open wrench. Use the hex wrench to adjust the set screw at A and turn the joystick simultaneously to feel whether the tightness of the track reaches the ideal state of drilling. After adjustment, tighten the hex nut at A with the open-end wrench.
Maintainance & Storage
- After each use, clean the bottom of the magnetic seat drill and keep it properly.
- Please butter the track in time when the slide is not smooth.
- Please check the electrical protection device regularly.
- Whether grounding is reliable.
- Please check in on time during the rainy season.

FAQs
Q: What is the Vevor JBLJ11 magnetic drill used for?
A portable boring drill called the JBLJ11 is made to drill exact holes in ferrous metal surfaces. It is perfect for applications requiring accuracy and portability, such as metal fabrication, construction, and maintenance.
Q: How does the magnetic base work?
The drill firmly adheres to flat steel surfaces with its strong electromagnetic base. It produces a powerful magnetic field when turned on, which keeps the drill stationary while it is in use.
Q: Can I use it on non-ferrous materials like aluminium or wood?
No, only ferrous metals will stick to the magnetic basis. Use clamps or another fixture to hold the drill in place while working with non-ferrous materials.
Q: What sizes of drill bits or annular cutters can I use?
The JBLJ11 is compatible with twist drills and annular cutters. Before using, consult the handbook since the maximum suggested cutter diameter varies depending on the model and kind of arbour. Going overboard can harm the drill or cause it to perform worse.
Q: Can the drill be used vertically or overhead?
Indeed. As long as the steel surface is clean, level, and sufficiently thick for a firm grip, the magnetic base permits drilling in all directions.
Q: Can I use the drill continuously for long periods?
Yes, but to avoid overheating, give yourself time to rest. During prolonged operation, keep an eye on the motor’s heat and the magnet’s temperature.
Q: Can the drill perform tapping or reaming?
With the appropriate attachments, yes. To prevent damage, make sure the feed rate and RPM are suitable for the material.
Q: Can I drill rusted or painted surfaces?
Paint or mild corrosion can weaken magnetic adherence. Before drilling, use sandpaper or a wire brush to clean the surface.
