FAQs
Q: How long does it take to make the first batch of ice?
Depending on the amount of ice chosen, the first batch usually takes 6–13 minutes. Subsequent batches are typically faster than the first batch.
Q: What type of ice does it produce?
The SKF-S25J creates clear, chewable, crescent-shaped ice cubes that are ideal for cocktails, beverages, and chilling food.
Q: How do I choose ice cube sizes?
Before turning on the machine, press the ice size button to switch between small and large cubes. Your selection is validated by the display or indication light.
Q: How much ice can this machine make per day?
Up to 26 pounds (12 kg) of ice can be produced with the Vevor SKF-S25J in 24 hours. Ice size, ambient temperature, and water temperature all affect batch size.
Q: How much water should I add?
Fill the water reservoir until it reaches the machine’s MAX line. While using too little water can lead to incomplete ice formation, using more water than is advised can result in leaks or overflow.
Q: Can I use the ice maker without water in the reservoir?
No, the compressor may be harmed if the machine is operated without water. Make sure the water level is always higher than the MIN line.
Q: Does the machine have an automatic shut-off?
Indeed. When the water reservoir is empty or the ice basket is full, the ice maker will shut off on its own. There will be a matching indication light to warn you.
Q: Can I use flavoured water to make ice?
It is not advised because sweet or flavoured liquids can contaminate the ice tray, harm the equipment, or alter the flavour. Use only pure water.
