    FAQs

Q: What type of popcorn kernels can I use with the PS-1200?

Standard, flavourless dry popcorn kernels are ideal for the PS-1200. Steer clear of coated kernels, popcorn bags, and kernels with extra sugar or oil.

Q: Do I need to add oil to make popcorn?

No, kernels pop without oil since the PS-1200 uses hot-air circulation. After popping, you can add spice or melted butter if you’d like.

Q: How much popcorn can I make at one time?

The majority of units can accommodate up to 60–80 grammes (about ¼ cup) of kernels. Overfilling might decrease popping efficiency and prevent kernels from flowing properly.

Q: How long does it take to pop a full batch?

Depending on ambient temperature and kernel quality, a complete batch usually takes two to four minutes.

Q: Does the popcorn maker get hot during operation?

Indeed. The air chute and housing may warm up. Avoid contacting the hot air outlet and always use the heat-resistant measuring cup.

Q: Can I add butter, sugar, or seasonings directly into the machine?

No, smoke, damage, or fire dangers may arise from adding liquids or powders within the popper. After popping, always season.

Q: Why is the popcorn flying out of the bowl so quickly?

Popcorn is quickly pushed out by the fast-moving air. To avoid spillage, use a big, deep bowl near the chute.

    Q: How do I clean the PS-1200?

After unplugging, let it cool fully. Use a dry or slightly moist cloth to clean the outside and inside. Avoid using soap, water, or submerging the item in liquid.
