Safety Instructions

When using your DOMO Ultra Steam Shark II, always follow the safety instructions below:

1. Read all instructions before using your Ultra Steam Shark II.
2. Only use the appliance for its intended use.
3. Never immerse any part of the appliance in water, because of the danger of electrocution.
4. Never pull the cord to remove the plug from the socket; always take hold of the plug itself.
5. Turn the cord loosely around the appliance for storage.
6. Open the safety cap from the unit slowly so any residual steam and pressure can escape gradually.
7. . Never try to repair your Ultra Steam Shark II yourself.
8. Always return the unit to the vendor for repair.
9. When the appliance isn’t repaired correctly, you can run the risk of electrocution or injury.
10. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.
11. Never leave the appliance unattended when it is still plugged in.
12. Contact with hot metal parts, hot water, or steam can cause burns.
13. Be extra careful when emptying the unit; there can still be hot water inside.
14. Never steam towards persons. The steam is very hot and can cause burns.
15. Never use the appliance near combustible or explosive materials.
16. This appliance is only intended for household use. Follow all the directions in this instruction booklet.

Before First Use

• Take the appliance out of the packaging
• Disassemble the different parts of the appliance and clean all removable parts according to the instructions described in the section “Cleaning and maintenance”.
• Reassemble all parts when they are dry:
• Position the seal on the blade piece.
• Hold the jug upside down.
• Place the blade with the sealing ring on the underside of the jug, using the recesses provided.
• Turn the blade anti-clockwise until it locks into place.
• Turn over the jar so that the base is at the bottom again.
• Place the lid on the jug in the recesses provided and turn the lid clockwise until it locks into place.
• Position the measuring cup in the lid and the jug, and screw it tight in a clockwise direction.
• Place the jug on the motor unit in the provided recesses and turn the jug clockwise until it locks into place. The blender is now ready for use.

USE

1. Always use the appliance on a steady, dry and level surface.
2. Make sure that the speed regulation button is at “OFF”.
3. Place the glass jug on the motor unit.
4. Place the lid with the measuring beaker on the pitcher.
5. Put the plug in the outlet.
6. Turn the speed control to the desired speed or the pulse position (“P”) for quick and delicate
   mixing.
7. Or use the function buttons. Turn the speed control to “ON”.
8. The blue 3-function buttons’ light will flicker. Press one of the function buttons:
9. Smoothie: This function is perfect for making smoothies. The blender works for 1 minute with the speed varying.
10. Auto clean: See section “Cleaning and maintenance”.
11. Ice crush: This function is designed to crush ice cubes. The blender will alternate between on and off for 30 seconds.
12. If you want to add ingredients while you are blending, remove the measuring cup from the lid and put the extra ingredients into the jar through this fill opening.
13. Turn off the blender by setting the speed knob to Off.

Cleaning & Maintainance

Always clean the blender immediately after use. DOMO DO740BL Stainless Steel Blender for easy cleaning. Do not let food dry in the jar or the blade piece; this will make them harder to clean.

1. Pour some warm, soapy water into the pitcher.
2. Turn the speed control to ‘on’. Press the ‘Auto clean’ button.
3. When the ‘auto clean’ programme is finished, the appliance will automatically turn off.
4. Then empty the DOMO DO740BL Stainless Steel Blender pitcher and rinse it with clean water.
5. Unplug the blender before continuing with cleaning.
6. Wipe the motor unit clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
7. First, clean the appliance using the “Auto clean” feature.
8. Disassemble the removable parts.
9. Remove the lid from the container and the measuring cup from the lid.
10. Turn the jug upside down and unscrew the blade piece clockwise.
11. Clean the measuring cup, the li,d and the jar and dry. These parts are also dishwasher safe.
12. Wipe the blade with hot soapy water and rinse under the tap.
13. Do not touch the sharp blades and take extra care.
14. Leave the blade to dry upside down, ensuring it remains out of the reach of children.
15. Make sure all parts are dry before reassembling the blender.

Troubleshooting

The appliance does not work.

• Ensure the blender jug is installed correctly.
• When using the bottle, ensure that the blade attachment is firmly screwed into the motor housing.
• The motor may overheat. Let the appliance cool down for 30 minutes and try again.
• Make sure the blade attachment is not blocked.
• Check for large pieces blocking the blades. Cut these into smaller pieces.
• When using the function buttons, the speed control must be in the ‘on’ position.
• When first used, it is normal for the engine to have an odour.
• If the problem still occurs after using it several times, contact the after-sales service.
• Always place the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
• Check that the blade attachment is properly installed.
• Put enough pressure on the bottle and turn counter-clockwise while pressing down.
• Then the blade attachment should come off.
