    Frequently Asked Questions

    Q. Can kids use the DOMO DO8140 fan?

Yes, kids 8 and up can use it, but only when an adult is watching. Show the child how to turn it on and off, and tell them not to touch the blades or play with the cord. Little kids should not be left near the fan.

    Q. How do I change the fan speed?

There are four buttons: 0 is off, 1 is low, 2 is medium, and 3 is high. Press the number you want. I like to start low and move up if I need more breeze.

    Q. How do I make the fan move side to side?

Push the oscillation button to make it swing left and right. To stop the swing, pull that button up. If you want the air higher or lower, tilt the front grill gently.

    Q. How do I clean and look after the fan?

Always unplug first. Wipe the outside with a soft, damp cloth. Dust the back grill so air can flow freely. Don’t pour water into the motor or use strong cleaners—mild soap on the cloth is fine. If it’s very dusty, remove the grills first (follow the assembly steps in reverse).

    Q. Can I use the fan outside or near a stove?

No. This fan is made for indoor use. Keep it away from stoves, heaters, and any place that gets wet or very hot.

    Q. What should I do if the fan stops working?

Unplug it and check the plug and cord for damage. Try a different socket if you can. If it still won’t run, don’t open the motor; take it to our pair centre or contact the manufacturer for help.
