- Slide ON/Off Switch upward to power the Personal Groomer.
- To add, align the Comb side rails with the slots of the trimmer head.

Beard/Moustache
- Use a mall comb (D)(6mm) to straighten hairs for trimming.
- When trimming, first select the Precision Trimmer Attachment. Starting under the chin, follow the jaw line back toward the ear. Trim in multiple directions to capture all stray hairs.
- When thinning or tapering, use a small comb to hold the beard in place. On the opposite hand, hold the Groomer with the cutting system facing outward while slowly moving the Trimmer along the length of the comb. The Adjustable Comb Attachment can also be used to achieve the desired look.
Micro Shaver
- Use the Micro Shaver attachment to clean up detailed areas.
- For best results, avoid holding at an angle.
Ears
- When trimming the inner ears, avoid inserting the Grooming System (O) more than 1/4” into the ear canal. Rotate the Grooming System in a circular motion while gently moving in and out of the ear canal.
Eyebrows
- Guide the cutting edges to stray hairs along the eyebrows.
- For best results, do not use the grooming system to define the entire eyebrow.
Nape of Neck
- Using a hand-held mirror is necessary for self-trimming.
- Lift hair off neck, using index finger to cover & protect hairs NOT needing trimming.
- Carefully touch the cutting blade to the neck, slowly moving the groomer in an upward direction until
stopped by the index finger.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
- Remove attachment.
- Rinse ONLY the attachment under warm running water.
- DO NOT use hot water as this might cause damage.
- After first removing the attachment, thoroughly brush and blow out hair clippings from the cutting
system, attachment, and the top of the power handle. - Remove the attachment by pressing the security latches on the front of the micro shaver.
- Remove the head, and shake to remove excess clippings.
- Replace the attachment by gently snapping it into place.
- Rinsing attachments under water (above) requires lubricating the cutting blades 1× monthly.
- Use only light-grade oils, as these will not evaporate or slow down the speed of cutting blades.
- Do not use hair oil, grease, or any oil mixed with either kerosene or solvent, as these too will evaporate.

FAQs
Q: How long does a full charge last?
Depending on the cutting speed and intensity of use, a full charge usually lasts 40–60 minutes. For reliable functioning, always recharge when the power starts to decline.
Q: Can I use the clipper while it’s charging?
This implies that simply connecting it to the power source, you can keep trimming even if the battery gets low.
Q: How do I turn the clipper on and off?
To turn on or off, just move the power switch, which is often on the handle, upward and downward. Always turn off the device before cleaning or replacing any accessories.
Q: Can I use the hair clipper on wet hair?
The main purpose of the CTP 1830 is dry cutting. Although you can trim somewhat damp hair, unless the handbook specifically says it is waterproof, do not use it on entirely wet hair or under running water.
Q: How often should I oil the blades?
Before or after each two to three uses, dab the blades with a few drops of oil. This guarantees steady cutting performance, lowers friction, and stops corrosion.
Q: Can I use the Orbegozo CTP 1830 for beard trimming?
Indeed! For delicate edging and details, use smaller combs.
