The settings of an individual color from the RGB spectrum only work with the “Permanent” lighting effect. Therefore, first select “Permanent” lighting e ect. Press and hold the Fn key and then press the End key twice. The “Permanent” lighting effect has seven preset colors (red, green, yellow, blue, turquoise, pink, and white), which can be accessed and cycled through by repeatedly pressing the Fn + End key combination. The original color is overridden.

To increase the red component of a color, press Fn + A, and to reduce, press Fn + Z. Increase the green component with Fn + S, and reduce with Fn + X. The blue component increases with Fn + D, and reduces with Fn + C. If the color components can no longer increase or decrease, the corresponding keys light up in the respective color they control.

    FAQs

    Q: What does TKL mean?

With TKL (Tenkeyless), the keyboard has all of the regular typing and gaming keys, but is smaller and simpler to place on desktops because it does not have a number keypad.

Q: How do I connect the keyboard to my PC?

The PureWriter keyboard is wired. Just insert the USB-C cable into your computer’s USB port. The majority of contemporary operating systems, including Windows and macOS, will detect the keyboard on their own without the need to install a driver.

Q: How do I enable gaming mode?

To prevent unintentional disruptions during gameplay, the Windows key is disabled when you press the Fn + Win key to enter Gaming Mode. Additionally, some models allow temporarily removing the Alt + Tab shortcuts.

Q: What is the polling rate of the keyboard?

With its 1000 Hz polling rate, the Sharkoon PureWriter offers incredibly responsive keystrokes with very little input latency, making it perfect for fast-paced gaming.

Q: Does the keyboard support N-Key Rollover (NKRO)?

Indeed. The PureWriter is ideal for gaming and complex key combinations since it supports full N-Key Rollover over USB, which guarantees that several simultaneous key presses are reliably registered.

Q: Can I use the keyboard on macOS or Linux?

Indeed. For simple typing and gaming, the keyboard is plug-and-play compatible with Linux and macOS. Windows may be necessary for some sophisticated software features, such as macros and RGB customisation.

Q: How do I adjust the keyboard height?

For comfortable typing or gaming, you may change the keyboard’s two tilt positions using the movable feet on the underside.
