    Safety Instructions

    1. Never let children play with this device.
    2. Keep the cable away from hot surfaces.
    3. Never open the casing of the appliance.
    4. Never cover the ventilation openings.
    5. Do not use steam cleaners or high-pressure cleaners to clean the appliance, as this may result in an electric shock.
    6. In preparing meals containing alcohol, high temperatures may cause the alcohol to evaporate.
    7. The vapour can catch fire if it comes into contact with hot parts.
    8. Do not use the appliance for storing flammable materials or materials that warp easily.
    9. Do not use any abrasive cleaners or metal scrapers to clean the glass door.
    10. This will scratch the surface, which may cause the glass to break.
    11. Moisture/condensation or dirt can get between the windows through these openings.
    12. Use oven gloves or a pot-holder to remove dishes and accessories from the appliance.
    13. Only use the temperature probe recommended for this oven (for appliances having a facility to use a temperature-sensing probe).
    14. Remove all excess spillage and utensils before cleaning with the self-cleaning function.
    15. The lamp in this household appliance is only suitable for the illumination of this appliance.
    16. The lamp is not suitable for household room illumination.
    17. Before activating the automatic cleaning process, remove the grid, the spit roasting kit, glass baking trays, meat probe, and any other cookware that is not a part of the oven equipment.
    18. During the automatic cleaning process, the oven gets very hot on the outside.
    19. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the appliance unless supervised.
    20. Do not store anything of interest to children in cabinets above or behind the appliance.

    Use

    1. Only use the appliance inside the home.
    2. Do not use the appliance in damp areas or near taps.
    3. Only use utensils that are suitable for use in microwave ovens.
    4. Never switch the microwave on if it is empty, as this may damage the microwave.
    5. Remove metal strips from plastic bags and use bowls and dishes that are microwave safe.
    6. Prick the skin of meat, chicken, or fish with a fork or other pointed object. This prevents spitting.
    7. Food remnants can also damage the intestine, which may result in hazardous situations.
    8. The oven has a fan that cools the oven casing.
    9. Do not place accessories on the open oven door.
    10. Close the oven door during cooking.
    11. Open the oven door carefully; hot steam will escape.
    12. Do not store flammable materials in the oven.
    13. Silicone baking tins are not suitable when combining hot air circulation and steam.
    14. Do not use baking tins that have areas of rust. Even tiny patches can lead to rust in the oven interior.

    Installation

    • Check the appliance for transport damage. Do not connect a damaged appliance.
    • The electrical connection must comply with national and local regulations.
    • The wall plug socket and plug should always be accessible.
    • Disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before starting any repair work.

    Disposal

    Ask your local authorities for more information about how to do this. A separate collection of household appliances helps to prevent any potential negative impact on the environment and human health caused by improper disposal.
