Get in touch with Anko Customer Service or an authorised distributor for troubleshooting, warranty claims, or replacement parts. Keep your model number and purchase receipt close at hand.
Q: Can I leave water in the tank overnight?
No, mineral deposits or bacterial development could result from leaving water in the tank. After each usage, always empty and dry the tank.

Filling the reservoir halfway is enough for the majority of recipes. To prevent automatic shutdown, make sure the steamer has enough water for the full cooking duration.
Q: Can I use the steamer without the trays?
No. For safe functioning and adequate steam circulation, the trays are essential. Without these, the steamer may cook unevenly or activate the auto-shutoff feature.

When the water supply becomes low, the Anko YLM1002 automatically shuts off to avoid overheating.
Q: Does the steamer have a timer?
The steamer will automatically shut off when the predetermined amount of time has passed, and you can adjust it in accordance with your recipe. The auto-shutoff will start if the water runs out before the timer goes off.
