- Plug the appliance into an electrical outlet.
- Turn the temperature control knob to the required temperature.
- To switch the appliance on, turn the timer knob to 20 (twenty) and then to the desired cooking time, plus an additional 3-5 minutes for preheat. The power and heating lights will illuminate.
- To remove the pan, carefully push the release button cover on the handle forward with your thumb while pulling the handle back to remove the basket.
- Once the basket is out, make sure to cover the Basket Release button by pulling the release button cover back over it to prevent accidental release of the basket from the pan.
- Some foods require shaking halfway through the cooking process. To shake food, pull the pan out of the appliance by the handle and gently shake. Then slide the pan back into the air fryer and continue to cook. Do not press the Release Button on the handle while shaking the pan.
- When you hear the timer bell, the set cooking time has finished. Pull the pan out of the appliance and place it on a heat-resistant surface. Check if the food is ready. If not, simply put it back into the appliance and set the time for a few extra minutes.
- When the food is ready, push the clear tab forward on the handle, press the basket release button, and lift the basket out of the pan. Empty the basket of food into a serving bowl or plate. For larger or fragile items, use tongs to lift the food out of the basket.
- If you want to cook two items at the same time, place the basket separator in the centre of the basket to divide foods and prevent the flavours from mixing.

FAQs
Q: How much oil should I use?
The majority of recipes just require a teaspoon or a thin mist of oil. The HF110SBD cooks food evenly without using a lot of oil since it uses hot air circulation.
Q: Can I cook frozen foods directly?
It is possible to prepare frozen appetisers like fish sticks, fries, or nuggets immediately. For optimal results, increase the cooking time by two to three minutes.
Q: What temperature range does it support?
Operating between 80°C and 200°C (176°F and 392°F), the HF110SBD enables you to prepare a wide range of meals, from delicate warming to crispy frying.
Q: Can I bake in the air fryer?
Yes, you can use heat-safe dishes that fit inside the basket to bake tiny cakes, muffins, or cookies. Adapt the timing and temperature to your recipe.
Q: Can I cook multiple foods at once?
Yes, but don’t combine dishes that have been cooked at drastically different times. If a basket divider is provided, use it to split the contents.
Q: Is it suitable for cooking for a family?
With a basket size of about two litres, the HF110SBD can accommodate two to three people in each batch. Make several batches of food for larger families.
