    FAQs

Q: What is convection cooking, and why is it better?

Compared to conventional ovens, convection cooking produces crispier outcomes, shorter cooking times, and even browning by circulating hot air around the meal using an integrated fan. It’s perfect for evenly reheating leftovers, baking pastries, and roasting meats.

Q: Can I use metal bakeware in the oven?

Yes, oven-safe glass or ceramic bakeware, as well as metal and aluminium, work well. Steer clear of paper, plastic, and non-oven-safe objects.

Q: What should I do if the food cooks too quickly?

Lower the recipe’s temperature by 25°F or cut the cooking time by 5 to 10 minutes because convection ovens cook food more quickly. Midway through cooking, always check the status of the food.

Q: Why is the fan still running after the oven turns off?

After cooking, the fan could operate for a little while longer to cool the inside and heating components. This is typical and prolongs the oven’s lifespan.

Q: Can I bake cookies, cakes, or casseroles in this oven?

Of course! The CTO6335S operates similarly to a standard oven. For cakes, muffins, casseroles, and cookies, use the Bake or Convection Bake setting. Cooking periods may be shorter than in a conventional oven, so use oven-safe cookware and keep an eye on them.

Q: Is the glass door heat-resistant?

Indeed, the tempered glass door is made to safely tolerate extreme temperatures. Use the handle or oven mitts whenever you open it, though, as it could get hot while being used.

Q: How do I know when preheating is complete?

The oven’s display indicates the desired temperature while it is preheating. The oven will beep to let you know it’s ready for food when it reaches the temperature you’ve set.
