FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What is the Black & Decker TO62D5 French Door Air Fry Toaster Oven?
Its big capacity makes it ideal for entertaining or family gatherings, and its dual French doors make access simple.
Q: How does the air fry function work?
With little to no oil, the air fry feature uses a high-speed fan to pump superheated air over the food, giving it a crispy texture akin to deep-frying. For optimal results, use the air fry basket that comes with it.
Q: What do the French doors do differently?
Trays are easier to put in or take out thanks to the dual French doors that open outward simultaneously with one hand, increasing countertop space economy. In comparison to single-door designs, they also aid in lowering heat loss.
Q: Can I cook frozen foods in the TO62D5?
Indeed! When cooking frozen meals like fries, chicken wings, or fish sticks, the oven’s convection and air fry features are perfect. Cook times for frozen foods should be a little longer than those for fresh.
Q: Does the air fry basket need to be preheated?
Before putting the meal in the air fryer basket, just warm the oven for three to five minutes.
Q: Can I use the air fry and bake functions together?
Q: How loud is the air fry fan?
When operating, the fan makes a soft humming noise that is comparable to that of a typical convection oven. This is typical and shows that the air circulation system is operating as it should.
Q: Is it normal for the oven door to feel warm?
Indeed. During operation, the French and external doors may feel warm to the touch. For air fryers and convection ovens, this is typical. Use oven mitts or door knobs at all times.
