    Introduction

The EASTWOOD ULTRASONIC CLEANERS are specifically designed with heavy-duty, Stainless Steel Tanks and Parts Basket components. The ultra-high frequency, 40,000 Hz, Superheterodyne Transducer design provides precision, damage-free cleaning power of grimy parts without the need for abrasion.

    Safety Instructions

    1. Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
    2. Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
    3. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
    4. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling, or unplugging the power tool. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
    5. When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
    6. Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment, such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, a hard hat, or hearing protection, used for appropriate conditions, will reduce personal injuries.
    7. Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position before plugging in. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or plugging in power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
    8. Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
    9. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
    10. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts.

    Set-Up

Ultrasonic Cleaning occurs when high-frequency, ultrasonic vibrations are created by Transducers and transmitted through the liquid cleaning media. As a result, microscopic bubbles are created on a molecular level. These bubbles very effectively penetrate into and behind dirt and grime particles and explode violently, causing the dirt to dislodge, leaving behind a clean, like-new surface.

    • Place parts to be cleaned into the supplied Basket. Keep a separation between parts, not allowing them to touch, as this will greatly reduce the cleaning action.
    • Lower the Basket into the Tank area (FIG 3).
    • Fill the Tank with an approved water-based cleaning solution ONLY to the maximum fill level indicated on the inside wall of the Tank (FIG 4). DO NOT exceed the maximum fill level line, which is the interior wall ledge that supports the Basket.
    • Parts should be covered by the cleaning solution for it to work. If they protrude above the surface, remove parts, or rotate the part through several cleaning cycles so that all surfaces receive cleaning exposure. DO NOT overfill with cleaning fluid in an attempt to cover parts.
    • Placa e Lid over the open Tank (FIG 5).
    • Plug the Power Cord into the receptacle on the rear of the cabinet (FIG 2).
    • Make sure the main unit Power Switch is turned OFF (Switch located on the rear of the cabinet).
    • Plug the power cord into a properly grounded and breaker-protected, 120-Volt, 60-Hz, AC circuit.

    Operation

    • Set the main unit Power Switch to “ON” (Switch located on the ear of the cabinet).
    • HEAT Button [A] – Press this button to start heating. A BLUE LED will illuminate when this mode is selected.

    FAQs

What is the EASTWOOD 37365 Ultrasonic Cleaner used for?
By eliminating dirt, grease, and impurities, the ultrasonic cleaner uses high-frequency sound waves to gently and efficiently clean jewellery, small parts, tools, car parts, and other fragile things.

What size items can I clean in this ultrasonic cleaner?
Small to medium-sized components, like jewellery, tools, injectors, and carburettor parts, can fit in the tank. To make sure your belongings fit comfortably, check the tank dimensions in the handbook.

    How does ultrasonic cleaning work?
In order to clean even difficult-to-reach surfaces without causing damage to the object, ultrasonic waves cause microscopic bubbles in the cleaning solution to burst, creating tiny scrubbing movements.

What cleaning solutions can I use with the ultrasonic cleaner?
Use the specific ultrasonic cleaning solution suggested for your application or water diluted with a mild detergent. Steer clear of flammable solvents and caustic acids unless the handbook specifies otherwise.

How long should I run the cleaning cycle?
Although cleaning timeframes differ depending on the application, three to ten minutes per cycle is usually adequate. Extremely dirty items could need many cycles.

I don’t hear or feel the ultrasonic waves working — is the cleaner broken?
You might not be able to hear ultrasonic cleaners since they work at frequencies that are inaudible to humans. Use a piece of aluminium foil in the tank to verify the unit’s performance; if bubbles develop and the foil looks scratched, it is functioning.

What power source does the cleaner require?
According to your handbook, the EASTWOOD 37365 runs on normal household voltage, which is usually between 110 and 120V.
